(FEELS AND BLOOD?) Chapter 4: Guess who's back?

RT! Chara's POV

I sighed impatiently as I waited for those stupid guards to return with Dream. They were late... I bet that stupid Ink got in the way. I growled and stood up and thought 'Do I have to do everything?' I teleported to Dreamtale and saw two piles of dust and some armor left behind. I grit my teeth, They wont be safe for long!

Ink's POV

I reappeared in a AU I didn't think was still existing; Inktale. Memories flooded back to him and mumbled "I-Impossible... This AU had collapsed, at least I thought it did. I remember hearing my father say "Ink, Finally you've come home.." I sighed "Heh guess his voice still haunts me." "Im real, Ink.." His voice sounded behind me and I saw him standing there. I felt a rush of emotions all together, anger, sadness, and fear. I said "S-Stay back! You're not suposed to be alive!" He said walking closer "I'm very much alive." I said "How?! I w-watched the AU collapse on you and my brother!"

He smirked "Memories don't die, remember that Ink." I said "You wanted me to die in that AU along with my brother, didn't you!?" He shrugged "So what? You tried protecting that ERROR.." I heard a warping sound behind him and quivered in fear. I said "J-Just leave the AUs alone! P-Please!" He walked in circles around me seeming to be glaring at the newcomer. He said "Cmon son aren't you interested to see what would happen if an AU is destroyed, or what would happen if one monster vanished from an AU?" I said "No! Leave me alone!"

Then I watched in satisfaction as he glowed red and rainbow then was thrown backwards. I trembled in distress and felt arms surround me in a hug, I looked up and saw my best friend Geno. He said "Cmon lets go!" I nodded and grabbed his hand and let him help me up. I looked and saw my father looking angry and murderous. I grabbed Geno's hand and ran through a portal back to our team and the other team shutting the portal behind us, but not fast enough..

Nightmare's POV

I yawned as I returned to the place where my team, Dream and Swap were only to find Dream smirking widely at me. I asked "Why are you smirking like that? You look suspiciously like the cat who swallowed the pigeon." He replied "Canary." I asked confused "What?" He continued "I look like the cat that swallowed the Canary."

I stated "I once had a very large cat. Anyways not my point, my point is why are you smirking?" He chuckled "You were talking with him with great interest I might add." I said "He's your leader I wanted to see what he's like." He said "Oh. And what did you find out by listening to his soothing voice." I blushed a light blue "I hate you, you're a bad person."

Suddenly a portal opened and I saw Reaper come through and ask "Hey have you guys seen Geno? He's not in the save screen." Swap said "Possibly comforting Ink." Error shuffled his feet "Yeah but I can't help but feel as if something bad happened to Ink." Cross said "Thank god I'm not the onky one feeling that." Dream lost his smirk and it was replaced with a concerned frown. Both me and Dream gasped and doubled over when so many negative feeling corsed through us I though I was eating a dark apple all over again.

I suddenly heard a Gaster's thoughts such as 'Finally I'm free!' 'Its time' 'Ink will regret not helping me, so will that Geno of his..' 'ILL kiLL thEm alL!' Dream said "Ink is In danger!'' I said "Someone is planning to kill Ink and Geno!" Reaper looked alarmed and I said "So (666 words 😆) many negative emotions, it felt like I was eating a dark apple over again."

Dream said "We have to stop whoever it is!" I nodded and Swap said "We can't do anything if we don't know where he is!" Another portal opened and Ink ran out of it with Geno close behind. Ink shut the portal but whoever wad in the portal managed to send a bone flying straight at Ink. Both Geno, I, and Ink reacted too late as the bone shot through Ink's left eye which was his star eye. Geno's pupil shrunk to nothing as he watched in horror as his friend screamed in pain and collapse to his knees holding his hand over the eye.

Geno sat down quickly and Dream and Swap rushed over to him with me following closely behind. Reaper asked Geno "Who was that!?" Geno said "No comment." Dream said "I can't heal Ink with the bone his eye!" I said "Sorry Inky." He said "J-Just get it o-over with Nightm-mare.." I sighed deeling guilt rush over me as I wrapped a tenticle around the bone and saw something engraved in it, YOU'RE NEXT GENO. I breathed in and yanked it out with one swift motion. He didn't make a peep except a tiny whimper which hurt me inside for some reason.

I said "This bone was meant to be a killing shot.." Ink nodded weakly "Yeah... H-He's after Geno n-now..." Geno said "Ink, I promise you I'll kill him before he can hurt anyone else.." I could tell tears were threatening to fall but he held them in for his sake. I said "Geno, I may beat you to it, whoever that was, is my priority on my people-to-kill-list." Dream began healing the eye as best he could ignoring Error and Cross asking if he was gonna be okay. Reaper said "Well he'll live if thats what you want to know."
