"Mom no! I am not picking another college!"
"Elizabeth you have to understand that it's not easy for us either, but there is nothing we can do."
"There is nothing you can do?! You promised me that if my results in school would be excellent, you would get me into this college! The UIC (University of Chicago) has always been my dream!"
"Elizabeth maybe it's better this way. I mean, Chicago is far away, and maybe you are not ready.."
"So this is the real reason mum. You don't believe in me. You never did. You think that I am going to move to Chicago and loose my mind and destroy my life by only doing mistakes!"
"Elizabeth, I could never.."
"Don't even try to find an excuse! I don't give a fuck about your stupid reasons!"
"How do you dare to talk to your mother like that?!"
"You're grounded! Go to your room! When you decide to apologize to us, we will think about your future and decide if you're even going to college!"
"What?! You can't do this!"
"I sure can! Go to your room, you got another month!"
"I hate you both so much!"
"You are the worst parents ever!" I yell before running to my room.
I slam the door and lock it twice and then hop into my bed.
I hate them so much. They only care about themselves.
I deserve to go to college, and I want to go there, at the UC.
It has always been my dream to move away from Texas and to go there.
And also.. my crush is going there.
I mean, not a big deal though...IT'S A HUGE ONE.
I have been in love with him since 3rd grade when he borrowed me a pen in class.
And the best part was, he didn't want it back.
I still have that pencil, to this day. And I always write my exams with it. It always brings me luck.
I wouldn't say that he doesn't care about me. I mean it's not a bad thing that he kisses different girls everyday, and grabs their booty.
That is normal. That is what boys do, right?
He is so cute, I am completely in love with him.

"Okay Elizabeth. You are going to that college. We figured something out."
"Are you serious?!"
"Yes, your parents, the people you hate, sold the house at the beach to pay that college."
"Really?"
"Oh sweetie, we would do anything for you."
"I am sorry mom. I am sorry dad."
"It's okay, I know how much you wanted to go at that college."
"I just hope you really mean it."
I run up to my parents and give them both a big hug feeling relieved, now that they forgave me.
I'm going to my dream college!
And he is going to be there as well.
