Edited. Long chapter, 1225 words. This was supposed to be the juicy chapter, but its gonna have to be in the next chapter, cause I'd rather have more chapters, than one real long one, because it helps me reach at least 25-30 chapters. so Warning, the next chapter is GUARANTEED to be dirty-ish. Have fun reading, my Hamilfans. (Idk if Hamilfans is original or not, but I just made it up in my head, so to me it is but whatever). BTW any involved poems, or songs throughout this book, are all by me, unless I say they are by someone else, in the story.

Johns POV

Alexander and I ignored everything we had spoken about. And apparently Lafayette and Aaron either hadn't heard what me and Alexander spoke about, or didn't care.

We played multiple rounds of multiple games, until about an hour later, when Alexander had to get up to go to his girlfriends concert thing.

"I have to go, girlfriends waiting," Alexander said, making his way to the door.

I grabbed his hand. "Don't go." Hell no was I staying in the same room with Aaron, without Alexander there.

"Come with me then," Alexander linked his fingers in mine, and pulled me along with him. I sat in the passenger seat of his car, and we started to drive towards The Whiting, a very large building in which Eliza was performing a song in front of judges. It was supposedly a competition and whoever won, received a prize of 1000 dollars.

"Eliza can sing. Very well, at that. You can be there with me to cheer her on. Shes gonna sing a song she wrote herself. We should have fun. Its a big building, and others compete too. Its not just singing, its other talents too. Art, Singing, Dancing, a bug variety of talents. Playing instruments and whatnot. I feel like you would enjoy some of the music. What, with you always listening to that music on your Ipod or whatever." Alexander explained.

"Sounds cool," I responded. I didn't believe i'd like it at all. He'd be staring at Eliza the whole time. Loving her, or whatever. Not me.

We pulled up to a big white building. He grabbed my hand and after buying two tickets, he lead me to some seats towards the front.

He handed me a booklet, full of the contestants names. "Its in alphabetical order, which is also the way they go on stage, and it has their talents."

"Theres like seventy peoples names on here." I said.

"Some are dual acts." He responded. He looked over my shoulder. "Eliza is only 52nd. We walked in on act 32. We only have twenty more to go, and we can leave right after Eliza's performance if you want."

I nodded. I pulled out a small pen from my front pocket, and circled some of the acts I wanted to see.

  The ones I circled:

  35: Amanda Heathers, violin player.

  47: Geriamo Leono, Singer/violin player.

51: Olivia Rachelle, poetry writer, and reciter.

I liked poetry, and I loved the violin, always wished I could play it. At least this night wouldn't be horrible.

My eyes slowly closed together, and I felt myself slide over in my seat, landing in Alexander's arms. He wrapped his arms around me, giggling as I continued to rest there, forgetting about the acts.

I kept sleeping, for however long, until I heard a soft and sweet voice of a boy. And then I heard a smooth, but strong sound, that of a violin. I must have missed the female violin player, but this boy was so much better probably, anyway.

I lifted myself off Alexander, and stared at the cute boy in front of me, on the large stage. I heard each note, playing differently, and perfectly in a nice toon. Words matched up with the notes of the violin, spinning from the boys mouth.

His voice was loud, and echoed off the walls, and although his voice didn't waver, he was shaking slightly, obviously nervous. He finished the lovely toon, on a real high note, which he held for a very long 17 seconds.

He ended, and bowed slightly, before slipping off the stage. The judges sat there, whispering and writing down their thoughts and votes, before they simultaneously turned their pages, and waved the next person onto the stage.

I stared at the ground, listening to two singers, listening to some giggles and jokes from a comedian, and finally the next act I wanted to see stepped up.

She stepped up to the mic.

"Where there is a rainbow, there is not a pot of gold, but the cold harsh rain falling down. Where there is a hug and a kiss, love goes through two, not all around. Where there is money, there is large pain. Poor people cant afford food, let alone a diamond ring." She finished her first verse of the poem, and took a deep breath, looking around at the people.

"When the skies cloud gray, and the leaves turn brown, I will not stay with you. When you don't even make an effort to help, the sky will never be blue. I grew up to know, that whispers weren't always bad things, but with you, all of them were. I heard some of the words you said, about me, but most were just a blur." She smiled weakly. Maybe the judges didn't notice, but she was using other words, synonyms, similies, metaphors, to cover up a true story. A true story about her.

"I confronted you, about what you do, and you beat us black and blue. Your own child, own wife, both got turned into your servants. So now, was it even worth it? To accept your proposal that first day we met, when I didn't even know you, just because I was some desperate little girl. I didn't love you still don't, and I don't know why I gave it a whirl. But its over, and maybe your beating me because your mad. But, I don't love you, because you make me sad." She finished, and in the light, the tears on her face were evident. She quickly stepped off the stage, barely catching the judges sympathetic smiles, and the audiences clapping.

"Eliza is next," Alexander nudged me. I looked at him, and all of a sudden I didn't feel good.

"Alexander, I have to go to the bathroom." I told him. (A/N I honestly just put her instead of him before I realized I did)

"You cant go, not now. Wait until Eliza is done." He told me.

"Alexander I think I'm gonna throw up, it cant wait." I stood up and he grabbed my hand and harshly pushed me back down into my seat.

" I don't care, John. Sit your ass down and watch my girlfriend sing. That's why we came here, John. Its like everytime my girlfriend shows up, you don't want to be around her. What's your problem?" He snapped.

"I-I-" I stuttered, my eyes filling with tears. "Fuck you," I sputtered, shoving Alexander out of the way, just as Eliza made her way on stage.

"John," He whispered. "Come back, I'm sorry." He pleaded. He would have gone after me, but there was something stopping him.

  Eliza.
