I gently slide open the window. Okay, now focus. Guards are still roaming around at night, especially Loki. Avoid him, and we'll be fine! I took a deep breath in before jumping onto a branch of a tree. I quickly jumped from tree to tree as fast as I could, hoping that no one could spot me.
"Hey, did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"It sounded like something was moving in the trees over there."
"Nah, I think you're drunk."
The two guards began to walk away. I was sweating so hard. They could've spotted me, right there! I think this is why we always lose the most mans at war. Because they are goddamn drunk! I calmed down and found a nearby bush to hide in. I dove for that pile of shrub.
"Oh, Hime-sama" Loki greeted as he spotted me. I slowly turned around my head. "Y-Yo Loki! I-I was just going to.......to...to, get some fresh air! I wasn't going to sneak to the Taikoi Kingdom and kill the King and get married to the third son" I explained as more sweats burdened on top of me. Loki looked at me and started laughing. "You're so obvious!" Loki laughed.
"Oi, Loki! Did you find something there?!"
"Nothing. Just a stray cat" Loki replied back to the guard. I looked at him. "Why are you lying?" I asked. "Weren't you just lying a while ago?" Loki whispered back. I started to pout.
"Hime-sama, did Cain-sama (Cain N. Kakumei-Father) tell you this?" Loki asked. "F-Father, did. But, Loki can you help me escape? Don't tell father about this" I insisted. "Escape? What for?" Loki said. I explained to him my entire plan.
"Oh, I don't know. I'll get in big trouble if I had help the sixth princess escape to another Kingdom to kill a king and not get married like planned" Loki commented sarcastically. I looked at him and sighed. "Enough with your jokes. I'm escaping tonight, whether you help me or stop me, I'm still going" I declared.
"Hime, here take this" Loki offered. It was an bow with an red string tied at the end. I looked at it and got confused. "What's this for?" I asked. "This a magic bow. Only five of these are made every six months so they are rare. But I happen to got one on my hands. It is used mostly as an signal during wars. To use it, you must shoot this at night only. Make sure to aim for the moon when you shoot. That's how it activates. It will shoot to the nearest tree of the Kakumei Kingdom and that's how the red color is at use" Loki explained. "Oh, that's so cool! Can I test this one out?" I asked. "Not now. Only use this when you complete your mission or when something bad is gonna happen. Use it when you feel like you need to" Loki replied.
"Also take this with you as well. You're going Eastwards after all" Loki said as he offered me another item. "What is this now?" I asked. "One of my buddies live in the Eastern area as a In person. So you can stay there if you want. Just show her this" Loki replied as he gave me an amethyst. "Her? Oh, what is this? You got a girl?" I said as I elbowed him. "Do not misunderstand, she's only my partner in one mission I took on" Loki corrected me as he blushed. I smirked. "You suck at lying, but thanks" I said as I got up.
"Hime-sama. Don't die" Loki said. "I won't. I'll be back" I replied as I smiled.
Author's Note:
Will our heroine die or not? Will she succeed or not? Until next time, Lucifer is showing up. Like finally. Our male character didn't show up for a long time, but his spot light is in the next chapter. Stay tune! (I sound like an anchorman right now).
