PRESENT DAY

*phone call with Travie*

S: Babe, come whenever.

T: You sure?

S: Yea. I'll make some soup. Better yet, i'll come over there.

T: Okay, bring a theremoter.

S: Thermometer?

T: That, you know what I mean.

S: Be there shortly.

*end of call*

I actually had to go to the store and get a new one, Travie hasn't been sick in almost a year. I slipped a jacket on and went to the store. I first grabbed the soup, then a thermometer. I had my iPod in my pocket in case Travie fell asleep. "Babe, I'm here." I said. He mumbled something. "Rest your voice." I rubbed his hair. I loved my big baby he was so sweet. I laid next to him and his head fell into my chest. I kissed his forehead and rubbed his cheek hoping he'd go back to sleep. I took Trav's phone and listened to 21 Pilots' Car Radio. That song had become me. Anyway, I laid with Travie until he started snoring. That medicine must've really worked, because he never snores. I got out of the bed and took my shorts off. He had it on 80 something degrees. But if I turned it down he'd get sicker. I lounged in my tank and underwear and ate a sandwich.

A few hours later, Travie got up to find me on the couch catching up to Gossip Girl. "Scarlett." He tapped. I got up and followed him as he pulled me in the room. He was shirtless as he always is. We laid together for about an hour then the sun started to set. "So, how about we go out to dinner?" Travie offered. "Tonight? You just got better." I rubbed his chest. "Tomorrow, I'll plan it." He said. We laid there talking for about an hour. About absolutely nothing. "I'm thirsty, do you want something?" He got up, I shook no. I used the restroom and washed up in case I fell asleep. "I'm gonna make some cookies," I said before walking out. I grabbed the pack of cookies and popped them in the oven. I went out to the deck and recorded for a while.

SCAR'S RECORDING

Scar's POV

"Good Morning guys, to mark my year, I brought cupcakes." I sat the cupcakes on the break room table. "Don't be offended, but why are you so damn happy all the time?" Zac asked me. "Because in my previous life situation I was always mad at something, so I'd rather be happy than mad." I said. "Thanks Lindsey." Luke said kissing me. "No prob, babe." I play with him a lot, just to make Zac jealous. It's obvious Luke and I have a 'thing'. "I - don't want to ask you, but I have to. Come to lunch with me." Zac finally said. "Oh, so you don't hate me." I stated. "No, you are a sweet person." He said. "Please, save the interesting conversation starters for lunch." I shushed me and drove away.

"2." he held up two fingers and we walked to our table. "So, you up for a game?" I offered. "Sure."

L- Why are you so bitter?

Z- That's not a question

L- Yes, it is. And it has a real answer. The same answer i'm waiting for.

He pulled out his wallet and opened it and pulled out a photo booth strip. "Her." It was me, about a year ago. "You look just like her." I turned my head slightly away from him. "Oh, well you can ask me now if you want to." I quickly offered.

Z- What is your real name?

L - No.

Z- So Lindsey, do you want to go on a date with me? I mean, you are actually really sweet when you look past the fact that you stole my girlfriends' job and she left like a little bitch and it pisses me of inside.

He got up and slammed his fist on the table. "It's hard to live without a piece that has always been there." He lifted his fist and walked out the café. "Zac! Zac!" I paid and ran out the restaurant, not only did I need to find him but he was my ride here. "Zac," I winced. I sat down on the curb next to him. "Are you okay?" I said I rubbed his back. "Yeah." He got out and started circling around. "I can't even wrap my head around her. She's so fucking amazing, I mean its been like a month but I just want to know where she went and why she left." He sighed.

"It's alright." I didn't know how to respond without making it obvious that he was talking about me. "We should go." He said. I got up and we to the car with him.
