"Linds, I got you something." Luke handed me a bag. "Aww, thank you. You didn't have to get me anything." It was a rectangular box that said Pandora. "This is too cute." I gave him a hug and kiss. He gave me a Pandora bracelet. "Luke. She is trying to explain something, take your skimpy ass over there." Zac said. "Zac! I will not let you talk to him like that. Now you are hurting my feelings, you treat him like shit and I'm tired of it." I signed out of my register and took Luke's hand and we walked out. I got in my cart and grabbed to golf clubs. "I didn't need you to do that." he said. "It was nothing, I wasn't going to let him do that. But I do have to tell you something." I eased.

"Anything." He said. I hit a golf ball my best. I propped the club against the cart. "I have a boyfriend." I confessed. "What." He missed his swing. "Who?" He said. "Travis. You've never met him. It happened last night." His face saddened. "For the longest, we'd already been in an open relationship. Then last night, he all of a sudden got serious. I said I wasn't ready, but this morning it felt right. That's why our date was interrupted last night. Are you okay?" I said. "Yeah, I guess, it's just I thought we had more than that." He said. "I thought we did too, but you aren't going to let this all go to waste, are you?" I asked. "I would never, but I.." He cut himself off.

"You what?" I was curious to know. "I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend." He said sitting in the golf cart. "Oh." it got quiet. "Well, what would you have said?" He asked. "If I wasn't kind of already with Travie, it would be a definite yes." He chuckled. It was silent for a second. "Luke, I have seen you blush this much. Ever." He looked at me. We sat there for a while. Just talking, not about anything, but we just talked. "C'mon," I drove back to the clubhouse. "Oh, Lindsey. Zac's not mentally here sometimes." He said getting out. "What do you mean?" I said. "Like 2 and a half years ago, when his girlfriend left, he started taking some drugs again. So keep your chill." He walked inside.

What have I done... He really loved me. Well, we had been friends forever, longer than 10 years. Zac was apologizing to Luke when I walked in. I logged back into the register and took the next customer. "Hey baby," He said. I looked up and it was Travis. My heart stopped. "Hey, what brings you here?" I asked softly. "Well, I got the job and I brought you lunch." My eyes lit up. "That's great, thank you." He put the bag on the counter. "Have somewhere we can eat it?" He asked. "Yeah, we can eat outside." He took the bag outside and I went to the back to sign out for my lunch break. "That's him?" Luke asked. "Yeah, come here." I said and he followed close behind. "Luke, this is Travis. Travis, Luke." I said. They shook hands and Travie said, "So this was my competition, she talked about you all the time." Luke blushed. "Nice meeting you man." Travie sat back down and opened the food.

He works at a seafood restaurant, so he brought me sushi. "This was the first thing I made today, your Yummy." Yummy is the name of the sushi, it's also my favorite. "Really good," I put my chopsticks down. "You smoked today?" I asked. I smelled it on his body and sometimes when he talked. "Like twice." I held my hand out. "Just one more." He opened the pack and pulled one out. "No, Travis." I said snatching it out of his hand. "Babe, what's wrong?" He said. "I don't want you to feel like you can handle more than cigarettes. You know how I used to be." I said. If anything ever happened I don't want him to be like Zac. "Whatever." He finished eating. "Well, see you when you get home." I kissed him. "Actually, don't wait up for me." I said. He dropped his head a bit. He must think i'm mad at him, oh well. "Do you really talk about me?" I nodded responding to Luke. "Your real name isn't Lindsey is it?" He asked.
