Chara located the ship—she had its itinerary...taking some illegal shady jobs to keep the floundering ship afloat. The port master even let her know that some of the crew jumped ship overnight either they didn't agree with the cargo they were carrying or the Commander...when she learned the name she was shocked. Undyne...Chara thought she disappeared a long time ago.

One of the best guards her father had...to let her go was stupid. Undyne had trained her—trained Asriel—it's when Chara discovered herself—her budding biotic power. Walking the ship back to the controls she saw her reflection in some of the dead screens off to conserve power. Her black armor gleamed like oil, red lighting adorned the collar and legs, the Black Nova symbol blazed on either shoulder with red light. A deep crimson cape adorned her right shoulder and back. Her plating was pure white and creamy pale yellow skin—albino. Chara's eyes were a disgusting almost milky pink. She had always hated her looks, considering it a curse and had always been a source of her bad mood as a child...looking more akin to an evil spirit than a Turian. Her sibling had pale plating and skin as well—but he didn't lack pigment all together his eyes were green—his skin a light sandy tan.

They were equals on everything—skills, physical power, and intelligence—she just happened to be a ruthless biotic user while he was an idiotic and just would-be ruler...the male would always ascend to the thrown—even if she were his blood sibling. The law forbade an adopted child to even hold a real rank under the house name. Even if she was loved by Toriel as a child she was still the thing on the bottom of their boots.

Chara felt a sting of rejection—even with it being so long ago. She growled a deep rumbling sound alerting anyone in her way that they needed to vacate. Entering the control room she sat down...the small shuttle was on its way to intercept the Violent Dawn; such a bold name for a simple cargo ship. She was hoping for a challenge this time around. She was fed up with Frisk....it was time she ended this for good, her father be damned.

She accessed her Omni tool the angry red display shone dim in the cabin. She started to read over the schedule of the Violent Dawn. The dumping area had been filled with waste—recent then the cargo had not had a chance to drift far. The second stop they had planned was an embryo delivery to a Salarian research station...vial. Then off to...she smiled reading it again. Deep impact weapons to a Krogan colony —experimental fuel to a Turian research facility. Wow commander Undyne was into some shady business, funny how the high moral teacher was now reduced to a bottom feeder scratching around for the crap jobs to make ends meet.

Frisk followed Papyrus down to the training rooms and sure enough like Pap said Sans was down there drilling...covered in sweat down to only his boxers he was practicing his hand to hand...Frisk stopped a little worried how he was beating the crap out of the punching bag not using any biotics. She also noted in the three days that she had not seen him the little belly he sported was about gone. Not hidden in his hoodie his physique was easily seen—muscles were coiling and uncoiling with every move—he was lightning fast on his feet, the jabs and punches were just blurs. She felt nervous looking at the display and made a retreat when Papyrus grabbed her shoulder, causing her to eep as Sans stopped turning towards them.

"Pap—" he blinked shocked seeing the bane of his existence right now trying to flee.

"Before you start brother."

"Ah—no I said I wasn't helping this human anymore. I'm done." He growled jumping from the ring and walked towards them.

"Sans—where is your sense of duty and compassion?" Papyrus frowned at his brothers callused approach

"Killed in Underground...like yours should be." He grabbed the towel on the bench by them and scrubbed at the sweat on his body, noticing that Frisk refused to look up and meet his eyes.

"A royal guard helps all. They are there to aid the helpless and protect the weak."

"You are not royal guard Paps..."

"I shall uphold the teachings of my—teacher. Undyne would be disappointed in me if I didn't."

"I think she would let this one slide...since she doesn't like the human anyhow."

"Look." Frisk steeled up turning to face him now. "I didn't ask to be born—I didn't ask to be stolen and sent into the skin trade—and I did nothing to warrant a psycho Turian female to hate me. So I don't know why you are so upset about me not mentioning Chara..."

"You didn't mention her and her gang...you didn't answer Undyne's question."

Frisk growled and undid her belt...

"What the hell are you doing?" Sans took a step back and Papyrus's neck flushed blue...what was the human frisk up to?

She dropped her jeans Sans eyes bugged out...the hell was going on! She showed him the side of her leg tiny hash marks in the skin—old pink scars raised... "This is how many." She pointed to the tally marks—self mutilation to her own skin—she counted. "I kept count if you are curious...a place I could hide from view." They started at the right at the hip and went down almost to her knee—each hash might be the length of a pinkie nail the width of a pencil lead, some thicker some thinner...it almost gave the appearance of a barcode...she wasn't proud of herself for them. She hated herself because of them. She had issues and took the pain and regret out on herself in the form of cutting...

"The hell is wrong with you kid?" Sans blinked shocked there had to be at least a hundred little tick marks running down her leg—almost two bloody rows of tiny hash marks! "Papyrus you want to add our tallies to this demented list in flesh? She is bad news."

Frisk felt like she had been slapped. She bent down her face as red as a tomato and grabbed her pants back up and cinched the belt. "Papyrus I can't ask you to help me...just let Undyne leave me at the lab."

"No Frisk I want to help you, even if Sans doesn't want to help...we're going to get a shuttle at the labs and then were going to get you somewhere safe."

She frowned feeling her heart sink... "But pap..."

"No more!" he laughed and took her in a bear hug she was surprised. "I always wanted a sister, so from now on we are your family and family helps one another!"

"Damnit Pap! What are you doing?" Sans growled. "You are going to get killed if you run off with her..."
