Chara was getting closer to the Salarian research station her blood already boiling, she hated the Salarian people but then again she hated anything that wasn't Turian...her Krogan minions were the exception in most cases something as blood thirsty as she was, was good company. They were itching for a fight and who was Chara to deny them of their one joy in life?

Papyrus and Frisk has been dozing in the rig for a few but when they heard the commotion outside...

The explosion rocked Frisk out of her snooze she collapsed to the floor as Papyrus was up stepping over her and to the rigs observation windows to see the space port was on fire. "Looks like we have hostiles..."

"Thanks for stating the obvious Paps—" she groaned and got up. "Who is it—who is attacking?"

"They appear to be Krogan. The attack seems pretty random..."

"That's Chara's goons... we need to go now..."

"I wonder if Sans and Undyne are off station..." Pap mumbled as he got up rushing to the controls of the rig.

Sans couldn't find his brother—he didn't have enough time and soon he was back on the ship—they weren't out in space long when they heard the distress calls started pouring in.

"We need to turn back and help them!" Sans growled.

"No—were too far away and Chara is most likely behind all this—looking for that human you two allowed on board.

"Then I don't have a choice!" he concentrated everything he had and in a flash of biotic energy he was gone.

The pain was indescribable—the searing cold void of space bit into his skin ceasing muscles and frosting his plating. Soon he was back on the Salarian station—where the ship had been docked and apparently where the proverbial shit had hit the fan. He gasped taking in air—his lungs felt like they were going to burst as he dropped to his knees completely drained...his vision tunneling soon he was unconscious.

The startup sequence was too long to get out of there in time. Papyrus tried but soon he was face to face with Krogan enemies breaking down the doors of the rig. He kept Frisk behind him as she pleaded him to run—but Papyrus was loyal to a fault and for some ungodly reason he wanted to protect Frisk with his life. Chara entered the rig after beating both of them within an inch of their lives.

The smirk in place was chilling—her eyes boring into them with a fire only hell knew personally—another kotch to add to her growing list...she looked helplessly to Papyrus who could barely see though his bruised and bloody face.

"I—I'm sorry..." she mouthed as Chara was grandstanding about how much of a bitch it was to locate her—that it was futile to seek help...Frisk has no idea that Papyrus was using the recording equipment to send this to this brother—to Undyne—someone.

He gave a weak blood stained smirk to the human and gave a low sigh as Chara turned on Papyrus.

"So you found someone stupid enough to protect your pathetic ass, pity he didn't last long huh? You know I take no joy in this....but it will be a pleasure taking another worthless, idiotic male from the gene pool..." she used her Omni tool to make a blade... "You know there is something so intimate about a death by blade—getting up close and personal with your enemy—victim. The look of fear—the smell of blood as it washes the blade to quench its thirst...there is nothing like it." Chara sounded close to having a euphoric moment as Frisk spat at her.

"You are a disgusting monster..."

"And you are a weak human...when are you going to learn that seeking help—that running away is going to result in your "friends" deaths...." She knelt by Papyrus who was too weaken to move. "So pathetic." She looked over him. "You can't even get a decent set of armor...this piecemealed shit is a disgrace...you deserve to die for that alone." She smiled sweetly down at him as she thrust the knife into his chest. Papyrus grunted then went slack his life drained away.

"Gather this filth and take her to the ship—I think I have a place we can put her skills to work...the Krogan home world should break this one." She laughed walking away from the corpse of Papyrus Frisk's sobs caught in the recording screaming for him...screaming at Chara.

Sans came to with a moan—Spirits it felt like he had been run over with a shuttle. He flicked opened his eyes to see he was in an exam room. He was alone. Eyes snapping open wide he sat up regretting it crying out in pain a pale skinned Salarian rushed in.

"Sir please sit back—you are in no condition to leave."

"My brother—I need to get to Papyrus!"

"You were alone..."

"NO—no he was chattering a rig...he was with—with a human...Frisk—her name is Frisk."

The Salarian gave a grave expression. He had to be hearing this wrong. "There was an attack on the station—A albino Turian followed by Krogan...they were..."

"What happened... I was coming back to help him... I passed out."

"The attack was random...but they seemed to be homing in on something...a rig—security cameras show a fight—they drug a human out..."

"Did they drag out a large Turian...my brother he was wearing piecemealed armor...he is tall very tall."

The expression on the Salarians face was getting worse.

"WHAT HAPPENED!"

He flinched. "There was a body."

"WHO!" his eye was flaring his biotics were sparking around him.

"A Tall pale Turian—piecemealed armor..."

"TAKE ME TO HIM!" he screaked tears spilling down his face. "TAKE ME TO HIM..."

"Sir you are in no condition..."

"NO!" he threw the blankets aside his feet hit the ground and he collapsed to his knees—screaming crying out that he was going to kill her... the Salarian took pity of the distraught mystery Turian and helped him to his feet—his words were no longer legible between the sobs and wracking breaths. Sans was lead to a room down a long hall and a flight of stairs...where he saw his brothers body beaten and cold—blood splattered from the severe breathing... Sans lost it again and the Salarian stepped back allowing the tortured soul to collapse to his knees.... Sans pain filled screams echoed the compound.
