I picked out the dress from my closet that I only wore for semi-special occasions. For example, meeting Gray's parents. That's kind of a big deal.

My phone rang to the beat of "Club going up, on a Tuesday!" from the twins' old videos. I answered to hear Grayson's deep husky voice in my ear.

"Hey Anna bear, I'll be there at your house in 30. K?"

"Okay babe, hopefully, I'll be ready by then." I chuckled. I could hear him smile as he said his goodbyes before hanging up.

Damn, I loved him so much. I just wish that we had the night to ourselves like the normal.

I curled my hair into a beach wave and finished my makeup. Nothing too heavy though. Grayson always says that I don't need makeup to please him. I'm beautiful to him just the way I am, even if I think I look like a potato. He was the perfect boyfriend any girl could ask for honestly.

I then slipped my dress on including my heels and picked out a small clutch to keep things like my phone. Not too long after I heard a car pull up and a horn honking. I looked out the window to see Grayson sitting in his new car that Ethan had just purchased for him. I smiled admiring the view. Not only was Grayson my view, the sunset was also. I grabbed my key off of the counter and walked out of the house, locking it behind. 

Grayson popped out of his seat and came to open my door. He is such a gentleman... except for in the bed. (What am I doing with my life right now?) 

"You look beautiful babydoll." He smirked pecking my lips. He looked me up and down making sure to look at every visible body part that my dress had revealed. Now that things had started, he drove off to his parents' house.

Not too long, we pulled up onto the stoned driveway leading to their backyard.

I smelled someone barbequing... 

"Oh lord jesus it's a fire!" I yelled

"Babe my parents are gonna hear you" He chuckled clutching his chest in laughter.

We both walked passed the gate side by side, hand in hand.

"Gray and Anna! You look lovely." Lisa (His mom) said with a smile that I'll forever remember.Every time I'd see her, she would be so happy and bubbly to see me which was great.

"Hey Dad" Grayson reached his arms out to meet his father's and grasped him into a tight hug.

"Hi Mr Dolan, it's so nice to see you again." As I said that, Lisa called for dinner and everyone sat down. Plates of food were already set on the table.

As Lisa sat down our conversations began. 

"So Anna, how did that job interview go last week?"

"To be honest, I was extremely nervous and it felt like there was tension. I don't think I got the job. It's really stressing me out." I said playing with my food. Talking about my failures made me insecure and made me question if I was good enough for Grayson, for his beautiful family even. 

Minutes later, Ethan rushed through the gate running up to his parents.

"Sorry guys, traffic today was horrific. Hey, Anna." He smiled diving into his food.

Something then felt a little off with Grayson. I decided to rest my hand on Grayson's thigh but he didn't make anything of it. I guess he thought that I was doing a normal girlfriend thing. Reaching my hand up even further, his facial expression completely changed.
