September 7, 1200 B.C-

September 7, 1200 B.C, was the last day Odysseus would be staying in Ithaca. We spent our evening caring for our son that was looking more like his father each passing day. However, by night, we spent our last moments slavering each other, not daring to waste another minute apart, as we laid in our olive trunk bed, our secret sign. I bask in his presence, knowing that in a few hours I will be deprived of him and our love. Oh, how I couldn't imagine the torturous days ahead of us. What were we to do without him...I thought, but was saved from my dark thoughts as Odysseus pulled me towards his bare chest, pressing the softest of kisses upon my forehead. He then nuzzled his face into my long, brunette hair and whispered the words I craved to hear into my ear.

"On out last night, I shall shower you will the overwhelming love I'm consume with just from being with you. It as if Aphrodite and Cupid themselves have shot us both with the magic of love that overcomes us when we're together, and it's as if Hade's himself dragged us down to the depths of hell when we're apart. However, don't let hell take your life when I'm gone my love, as you have these memories we're making right now to hold onto till I return..."

"I love you," I say as I lift my head to give him a kiss, submitting to the emotions that consumed me from hearing those words fall from his plump, full lips.

"I love you too" he says afterwards and deepen the kiss. We then stared longing at each other before we let the hazy, darkness of sleep takes over our bodies.
