December 12, 1220 B.C-
Today, as I made my entrance into the kitchen, the lead suitor, Eurymachus, whose been disgracing my husband's palace by having his presence in it for ten years, shoved me against the wall and demand I take someone's hand in marriage.
"We can't be left dangling on a thin string forever now, can we? I think it is time we speed up the process. A pretty face like yours shouldn't be wasted on not being courted.
"I am courted!" I hissed out, can't believing the words that were spilling out his mouth
"He is dead. Move on. Don't let yourself downgrade to a widow status. Besides, I am doing this out of your favor. It must get difficult to control Ithaca all on your own. Now choose."
"I shall choose whoever is deemed worthy of my," I replied coolly, not daring to unleash the rage I held pent up inside. Don't show emotions. Leave him on edge, I chanted to myself.
"And how should we prove that."
"By bending and stringing my lord Odysseus' hunting bow." I said while holding my chin up high, daring him to accept the challenge. I knew only one man can achieve this impossible task, and he was not here to accept...or so I thought.
