IV: Minor Fights
They were at the perfect time --- this man was hard too get, especially since he constantly destroys the ground. The more, the faster.
But that doesn't mean he didn't need to be wary. Who was going to guard the sub? What if there was a sea king? A barbarian? Of course, he couldn't be distracted. The man was knocking out the chalk white floor, and space was running out.
"Miss Megumareta," he was acumen to roll to the piece of the flooring that didn't collapse, "I hope there's something guarding my sub," he resiliently did multiple back flips, landing on a lucky metal ground that was yet to collapse, which irate the commander, Lucia, more.
"Stay still, brats!" he barked hoarsely. Megumareta didn't give her answer to her captain, as she grabbed onto the two weaker members of the crew, and hurled them to her left, while she cartwheeled her way to the front, with her siblings throwing themselves to the floor and rolled over.
"I said stay still!" he took the polished stilettos out of his hidden knife keeper hidden on his back, and threw them ferociously, pinpointing Megumareta alone. At the last moment, her body faded before it even marked her. But that didn't mean he ceased to throw more daggers. He hastily threw them at the other in the room, the captain, bear, and the brothers nonchalantly dodged them. Shachi and Penguin dodged them by karma's kindness.
No longer were there anymore Griffins. Just Lucia alone, since the inferior Griffins had to evade from the battle.
A loud scream emerged from Lucia's colorless lips, vibrating through the metallic room. "Pesky brat . . ." he succumbed to the cold, hard steel, just like he did with the pieces of metal that was still falling into the abyss. They, were at the moment, in the basement.
"Do not fear, Mr. Law. Oshan is protecting the sub," Megumareta's eyes showed no wary, nor did her expression flatter.
"You could have easily defeated Lucia, easily, though." She said frankly.
"Heya Law!" Maru scurried to the captain, in an attempt to tackle him, which he failed, since the captain took a few sidesteps. "Hey! What was that for?" he pouted.
"Miss Megumareta. Are you sure he's a commander? He was taken down quite easily," he threw his gaze at her.
"No. From what I believe, he is not," she started, with her siblings frolic in the background. "It is natural for the Griffins to buff. It deludes people, thinking that there is no way to revolt against them. Lucia was not a real commander. His name is not Lucia." The captain's eyes slightly widen. "I see. So the folders weren't lying after all." A feeling of the past collided over him. Lucia Criks.
Commander of Kyofuseiji island. A rank below Captain Hira Yami. Eater of the Taka-Taka zoan fruit. CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR CENSOR.
He couldn't read the entire thing. There were censors galore all over the place, and didn't get much information about the real Lucia Criks.
"Real commanders can be weaklings or powerful, intelligent or ignorant, agile or slow, ugly or beautiful, they all come with idiosyncratic characteristics. In the Raters and Griffins, to reach the next rank, a certain level of power must be at its peak. Some of the commanders are much more powerful and closer to becoming captain than others."
"So in other words, that man isn't truly a commander?" her nod came out immediately. "Yes, frauds are there every now and then." Her rigid eyes narrowed dangerously. "And sometimes, a so-called weakling could possibly be in one of those rankings of destruction." The boys in the corner quiet down, as Megumareta's hands clutched.
