Chapter 3

(Zelda's POV)

In the morning i woke up and ben was awake and scrolling through his phone. I looked over at him and he stop scrolling, looked over at me out of the corner of his eyes, then locked his phone. "goodmorning" he said, in an annoyed tone.

"whats wrong?" "I got quite an interesting text from link just now. You told him?" "I panicked and told him" "same thing" "Ben he said he fine with it" "oh, i know, but he decided to cut his vacation short, no objections. He said he'll be home by tomorrow morning" "okay?" "because he wants to have a talk with me" "Ben you cant avoid him you know that?"

"i know. im going to go home before eli gets there and wonders where i am, god that would be a pain explainging to her." "yeah..." "oh zelda, Your eyes lit up like friewords last night when i kissed you, wanna explain that?"

I froze. "maybe you were seeing things." "maybe, just know this wont be a one night stand okay?" he gave me a light kiss and then got up and got dressed. I touched my lips.

He left and i broke into panic mode. What did he mean by that?! Im not going to be the cause of an affair! I got up and got dressed, then sat at my vanity and sighed. This sucks.

(Ben's POV)

What the fuck is wrong with me?! 'this wont be a one night stand' why did i say that?! Im not going to cheat on link! Something is seriously wrong with me right now. Zelda is probably Paranoid, link is probably pissed and i, myself, just want to go check myself into an asylum for the mental breakdown i KNOW im going to have when i figure out if zelda really is pregnant.

oh god. realization hit me hard. I just fucked EVERYTHING up. Here i am saying i want to try to change my ways and i go right back to being an ignorant prick. I approched my house and i prayed eli wouldnt be inside, as the blood was rushing down my cheeks from the sheer panic that washed over me.

and my worst fear came true. She was home, sitting on the couch when i went inside. I didnt make eye contact with her and went straight upstairs. I could feel her eyes watching me and i didnt even need to see her to know she had a worried look on her face.

(Eli's POV)

was chichi bleeding? I probably imagined that but there was that lingering feeling inside me that i should go check on him. And that curiosity took over me. I turned off the Tv and went upstairs. "Chichi?" i said, getting to the door to his room.

"please go away eli. I need to think" "a-are you ok?" "im fine Elizabeth, please leave me alone." "im worried about you..." i heard a sigh and feet shuffling to the door. He turned the door handle but didnt open the door.

"promise me you wont freak out eli..." "why would i...?" i couldnt finish and my words trailed off as he opened the door and met my eyes. "c-chichi?" "You're afraid arent you? please dont worry, i cant feel it.. it doesnt hurt, its just something that happens and i cant control it." "h-how...?" "i dont know Lizzy, but i wish my eyes didnt do this. i was afraid of you finding out because it might scare you and i cant keep it from you anymore because its really hard to control them"

(Ben's POV)

"im not afraid chichi..." she said, pulling me into a hug. "i made a mistake eli, daddy's coming home tomorrow and i need you to stay with either Zelda or Chelsea for a few days. I know for a fact words are going to be said between your father and i'd rather you not hear them ok?" i said, pulling away from the hug and looking her in the eyes. The black faded back to white and the red fading back to blue.

"okay" "good" i kissed her forehead and she smiled at me. "i love you chichi" she said, hugging me again. She told me she loves me. it feels amazing to hear that from her. "i love you too Lizzy, and im sorry for not showing it enough" "you coming back showed me enough"

I smiled and hugged her a little tighter.
