The plane lands and everyone hops off with their baggage. Everyone has their shades on and they sign out of the airport and get into a limo. They drive around town looking for a hotel for a couple nights and people start getting bored. When Reid starts babbling, they find it ACTUALLY entertaining!
"Have any of you seen Doctor Who?"
Meghan's hand shot straight into the air with a huge smile on her face. Reid turns to see her and also smiles brightly. He looked surprised.
"Really?" he asked excitedly.
"Of course!" Meghan laughed as she takes out a magazine from her suitcase, which had the 10th Doctor on the front cover. "David Tennant was my favorite!"
"Mine too!" Reid laughed.
Everyone else thought this was amusing to watch and didn't interrupt, thinking it was happy moment for Meghan since she's been grumpy all morning. Spencer and Meghan continue.
"Which companion? Rose? Donna? Or Martha?" Meghan asked.
"Martha." Reid answered.
"Why?"
"She's a Doctor and she's brilliant! What about you?"
"Rose Tyler. Because she's fun, pretty, and because he can't live without her."
"Fair enough." Reid smiled and straightened his jacket. "Favorite villain?"
"Weeping Angels all the way."
"You know there ACTUALLY is a legend about the angel statues. Only they don't cover their eyes, they put their hands behind their back and smile in a sweet but deadly way. And not only that but the victims that blink in front of the angels don't get sent back in time but they are killed right on the spot."
"I'll note that when I come across one, thanks." Ross smiled.
She suddenly stopped when she notices a familiar building out her car window. She looks at for some moments when the limo comes to a red light and frowns in a sad way. Reid stops rambling and frowns, looking curiously out the window with her.
"What are you looking at?"
Hotch and the rest of the team turn to look at the two who were still looking out the window with curious faces.
Meghan gulped and pointed at the building, memories began to flow through her mind like a river over stone.
"That...that was my old apartment when I lived here."
To break the weird silence, Morgan started to bring up a awkward yet comforting conversation.
"So...Megs. I've never been to New York before. So what should I be looking forward to?"
Meghan, totally forgetting her apartment, looks back at Morgan and smiles.
"The pizza."
"I can probably guess where we're eating tonight." Morgan smirked.
"I'll pick some up later." Emily grinned, rolling her eyes.
Everyone laughs at this and the limo driver finally brings them to the hotel the team was assigned to.
