The cuts in her wrist were healing quite quickly since she hadn't cut that deep, and she hadn't lost that much blood. If she would've cut deeper, it would've been a whole other story. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Since she and her brother live at Ricky's house now, she always goes through the park to get to his house. It's a little bit longer, but she loves to be in the nature, because it gives her rest. She loves to listen to the birds singing happy songs, even though her life isn't that happy lately due to her mother and father. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀They've called them several times, but Chloe nor Nick want to talk to them. Once, Nick had picked up and he had his drunk father at the telephone, yelling at him to come home and that he wouldn't get away with it that easily. Nick simply answered that with telling him he's grown up, and that he can take care of himself and his sister. He'll go to a lawyer soon and ask to be the guardian for Chloe. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Nick's been searching an apartment and he also found a job. He hasn't found the perfect apartment yet, but he's still searching and determened to find one. But as long as he didn't find one yet, him and Chloe live at Ricky's. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀While Chloe was walking through the park and was enjoying the warmth of the sun shining on her pale cheeks, she heard a rather familiar voice calling her name. "Chloe, wait up!" He yelled. The blonde turned around and she couldn't help but smile a little when she saw Ricky running after her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Oh hey, Ricky" Chloe said, surprised yet happy. "I saw you walking and I thought; it's nicer to walk together than alone" Ricky said, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh really?" Chloe asked, raising an eyebrow, "I always take this way to your house, and I've never seen you taking this route before" Chloe said. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Well okay," Ricky said, a shy laugh escaping his lips, "maybe I did it on purpose, but yet, you should feel flattered about that" He said. Chloe giggled and felt how she started blushing. She cleared her throat and put a strain of hair behind her ear. "I do feel flattered" she admitted. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀They started walking together, their shoulders brushing each other's as they did so. "So..." Ricky started, "did Nick find an apartment yet?" He asked, walking in the direction of the fountain. Chloe sighed and shook her head as she sat down at the edge of the fountain, Ricky taking place next to her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Nope," she said, "do you want us gone, maybe?" She asked, laughing a little bit. "Hmh... Let me think?" Ricky joked. "You jerk" Chloe shrieked, splashing some water from the fountain. "Oh- oh" Ricky laughed, "we're doing it that way, huh?" He asked. He splashed some water back at Chloe, causing her to squeal again and she ran away from the fountain, Ricky running after her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And suddenly, Ricky caught her by her arm, turned her around; and then he kissed her. Chloe's eyes were wide, and her body stiffened. Is Ricky actually kissing her? Is this really happening right now? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀As Ricky realized that there was no reaction back, he pulled back and stared into Chloe's eyes, his green ones filled with worry and questions, and he started to breath a little heavier. "I- I'm sorry Chloe I didn't-" He stuttered, but Chloe had realized by now what had happened and she stood on her tip-toes, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀They both closed their eyes and Ricky put his hands on her waist, pulling her a little bit closer during their kiss. After a good twenty seconds, they pulled back on the same time and stared into each other's eyes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I wanted to do that for so long already" Ricky breathed, his eyes gazing from her lips to her eyes, and back to her lips. "Then I suggest you do it again" Chloe said, biting her underlip.
