Chapter 6

Chapter 6 (Lucy's POV)

So Shawn Mendes just freakin asked me out. I don't really know if he's gonna tell anyone about us but I'm gonna only tell Carolyn and Elizabeth. They're both awesome so I know they'll understand this. I spotted them coming out of the dressing room I was in before meeting Shawn.

"Guys back in there! I need to talk to you!" I said.

"What?!" Both of them asked.

"Shawn asked me out!" I quietly said.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!!" Carolyn squealed.

"I'm pretty sure I am." I replied happily.

"Since we're all here and we're also on this topic I need to tell y'all something too." Elizabeth said.

"Okay I think I know where this is going but I'm not sure." I giggled.

"Matt wants me to go out to dinner with him tonight but I don't know what to wear." Elizabeth answered.

"Girl I think I know who can help you." I smiled.

"OMGG is it Beth please tell me it's Beth!" She squealed.

"Yes it is I'll text her saying you're having a fashion emergency."

I immediately texted Beth to let her know.

"Since Elizabeth and I just confessed do you have anything you wanna share Carolyn?" I laughed.

"Well uh Hayes and I are getting to know each other and he wants me to hangout with him in the park in 20 minutes." Carolyn confessed.

"Looks like my two besties are busy tonight oh well I'm gonna be a loner like usual." I smiled.

"Well you ladies get ready I'm just gonna leave you guys now byee!" I said as I exited the room.

I'm really happy for them. If they ever go out with Matt or Hayes I know they won't have time to hang out with me. As long as they're happy I'm happy, as a friend I should be supportive and not selfish.

I really don't know where to go now. I didn't have any plans later tonight so anyways I'm probably gonna be the only one at the hotel at 8:00 pm. While the thoughts crowded my brain I didn't pay attention to where I was going so I bumped into someone. When I look up it was Nash.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you there!" I apologized.

"It's ok haha." He chuckled.

I gave him a smile then decided to go.

"Hey Lucy do you wanna join us for dinner tonight?" He asked.

"Oh uh sure I guess since I don't have any plans later tonight." I told him.

"Cool! See ya tonight then and be ready by 7:30." He informed.

After that conversation I walked back to the dressing room and decided to get ready. While I was trying to find an outfit for tonight my phone lit up.

"Heard Nash said you're gonna join us for dinner :)." Shawn texted me.

"Yeah." I replied.

It was already 6:50 if I don't get ready soon I'll be late. I rushed over to my closet and grabbed a black sequin crop top, a white blazer and a black skater skirt. As soon as I got dress I applied some light makeup. By the time I was done it was 7:15 so I got 15 minutes left to spare so I went on twitter. I was scrolling down my news feed and saw Shawn's tweet.

"@shawnnmendes: I finally found my princess."

Well it kind of look like he hadn't told anyone. I don't really know how to feel about this. If he really likes me he would want people to know not hide me. I'm gonna put that thought a side he only asked me out like an hour ago. After I snapped out of my thoughts I heard a knock on my door and stood up to open it. It was Nash and the others minus my two besties and their dates Hayes and Matt.

"You ready to go?" Nash asked.

"Yeah." I replied while grabbing my purse and phone and head towards the door.

I really didn't know where we were eating at. We were all talking and laughing while Carter drove us. About 15 minutes later we arrived at this beautiful restaurant it wasn't fancy but it's really nice. While we walk over to the table Shawn looked at me and smiled. To my surprise he sat right next to me. Our waiter brought us the menus and we started to order our food. As we waited for our food we all pulled out our phones and head over to twitter. I was just reading and retweeting my news feed and smiling because some of my fans' post are amazing. Suddenly I received a text message from Shawn.

"Hey I'm really sorry I still hadn't told anyone about us, but I'll find a chance when the whole crew is there and I'll tell them I promise." Shawn texted.

"It's really ok Shawn thank you :)." I replied.

Our food started to arrive and all of us just ate and talk. We finished eating at 8:35 pm and started to head back to the hotel. Today's been absolutely amazing it was pretty good for the first show. I was tired when I arrived in my hotel room. I went to get my clothes and changed into a t-shirt and sweatpants. As soon as I got done with my nightly routine I grab my phone and went to Twitter and tweeted everyone good night.

"@misslucyxoxo: Good night everyone today has been amazing get ready Orlando I can't wait to meet y'all tomorrow."

I almost forgot I have to wake up at 6:30 am tomorrow to start packing and get back on the tour bus. I headed to bed and just got relaxed before going to sleep. I'm hoping tomorrow will be good at Orlando second show in this tour I'm really excited.
