Jonathan's POV

I walk around in circles in this huge glowing kinda colorful platform. "There must be a way to go further deep inside and find Evan." I told myself looking around for anything out of the ordinary. 'How about that big huge door that just appeared behind you a second ago.' He said in my head which made me turn around quickly seeing a huge dark door.

This door wasn't even there when I was looking around. So what do I do? I go up to and pull the door handle which opened the god damn door with a creaking noise. I peak inside seeing a whole new different place. I thought I was gonna see pure darkness but no! What I saw was quite colorful. The place that was form the order side of the door was like a forest that had a narrow glowing yellow path. The leafs were glowing green and the trees were craved perfectly with a bit of detailed golden swirls on them.

"Interesting." I start to follow the path slowly making sure there was no danger around me. Once I made it to the end of the path I found a small kid sitting there in front of a lake that had glowing crystal blue water. The kid was out of the ordinary compare to the stuff around him because he looked a bit color faded and gloomy.

I walk up towards him leaving the path behind. When I stood beside him I noticed that it was the child version of Evan only that his raven hair was messier and longer, had bruises and scratches all over him, and finally his clothing had dull dark colors on him.

"The lake may look pretty at first but more later on in the future it will get dirty or even disappear." That's what little Evan said while he kept staring at the lake with his gloomy face. "But what about you? Do you think about yourself." I asked him while I sat down beside him. "I'm just a mistake...I think of myself as a lost baby owl not able to find love and happiness. Getting himself all dirty and way more lost until he dies." He said slowly looking up at me with his dull dark brown eyes.

I felt myself tear up just by what he said about himself and by how he looks. Is this how Evan used to see himself as when he was a kid? I immediately hug him softly and said, "Don't say that Evan. You are not a mistake, you will find love and happiness in the future. Many people like me love the way you are. You are unique from the rest. I know that more later on when you are older you will someone handsome and caring." I softly rub his back in a circular motion.

I started to feel my chest start to get wet and a sobbing sound was heard in my arms. "Do you really think that?" He asked my with a broken voice with tears flowing down his cheeks. I smile down at him and nod squishing his cheeks. "Trust you will." I said reaching down for the water wondering if I could control it which I could.

I made the water move towards the bruises and scratches that were on him. I place a hand on every injury which made them start to heal. He sniffed watching his bruises and scratches heal up. "What happened anyway? You look really hurt." I said still healing him. "Oh I got beaten up in school like always. It's my everyday routine. Getting hurt everyday and my parents only being there for me. They are my only friends that I have and they are my parents at the same time." He told me rubbing his eyes to get rid of the tears.

His innocence made me feel really bad for him. He doesn't deserve this much hate, just look at him. He is so adorable looking. "Next time when you go to school, fight back. Don't let them get to you that easily. Show them how tough you really are and your strength." I told him with a small smile. His lips slowly turned to a bright happy smile, I knew that it was a real smile because it showed his dimples. "I will!!" He said all happy which made me happy. "Oh I know you will." I mumbled to myself so that he wouldn't hear.

"By the way how old are you?" I asked him making the water go back to the lake. "I am 7 years old and I like to read and play with animals." He told me showing that adorable looking smile of his showing his dimples again. "Wow and you seem really smart." I said ruffling his hair which made him giggle.

He looks at his arms and legs seeing no more bruises and scratches on him that made him gasp. "How'd you do that? Are you some kind of superhero?" He asked me looking up at me with his eyes which changed a lot. His eyes used to be a dull dark brown but now it's a bright colorful dark brown that were so shiny. "I think you could say that." I said smiling down at him. He gasped hugging my arms immediately. "I want to be just like you helping kids around me that are feeling sad." He said all cheerful.

I chuckled sitting him on my lap. "I'm just being who I really am but I make really bad mistakes that make feel sad. If the person you love hurt you accidentally, will you forgive them?" I asked him looking down at him waiting for his answer. He started to think until he said, "Of course I will, I will still even love him even if he still hurt me! I will say I forgive you." That made my day.

His clothes started to change color. The darkness on his little clothes slowly change to color. A really bright colorful color. "Evan...be who you really are and accept yourself. Don't let those kids take away your colors that are on you because they are really important. Those colors represent who you really are." I told him which made him smile and nod. "Don't worry, I promise that will fight back and accept who I really am. I'm not a mistake." He said hugging me tightly and I huge him back.

He started to disappear into golden petals. "I promise and I will never forget you mister nice man." He said slowly disappearing. "Call me Jonathan." I told him until he completely turned to a dozen of golden petals flying away in the sky.

"Be who you really are and never give up."
