Sisters of Krypton

Bonding over Accidental Dimension Travel....

Today had been good so far, Kara is back at her job. Mrs. Grant is still obsessed with finding out how Superwoman and Supergirl are related. And my sister is still struggling with her non existent love life. Everything is back to normal. 

Except for one little detail, Siobhan. The "Media" girl who was fired last week for trying to sabotage Kara twice last week and once this week. 

But today? I'm not going to focus on negative Siobhan, I'm going to focus on getting those new shots for Mrs Grant with James. We both have to. Besides, I've been getting many pictures of Kara and I together a lot to save my job. 

Kara, Kate, and I share an apartment now. She had been sulking until today about her going evil episode. She was eating like crazy. But hey, that's better than what I do when I am very upset. Let's just say, it's best to leave it at that and move on to another subject. 

I walk to Kara's desk from my crazy cluttered desk in my shared office. She comes over to me and hugs me. She decided to come back to work with me today because I bribed her with pizza and potstickers afterwards. 

"Hey Kara, you caught up yet?" 

"Yup! How are your pictures going? Good I hope?" I nod back to her as Siobhan walks into the office, still pissed at us. 

"Why are you here Siobhan? You're fired and not allowed in the building! Move your ass out of this building before I call security!" 

"Don't worry about that because I'll be done with you before you can even pick up the phone." She then screams so loud that she launches us out of the building and makes our ears bleed in the process. 

But suddenly, I'm met with a familiar red electricity and put down in the middle of a field with Kara, both of us on fire, me more than her. 

I put out my own fire as the man in a red suit looks at us with confusion and relief in his eyes.

Kara looks at me then snaps out of her little space cadet space out. She puts out her fires on her, then takes off and changes into her suit with me right behind her. Her clothes fall onto me and I just shove them into my side pocket on my hip of which I have for both our clothes. Then a streak of red electricity is seen by both of us as I fly up next to her. 

I recognize that streak from somewhere but I don't remember who it is.

Ok. We will see who it then. She swoops down and lands in front of the strange man. "Who are you?" 

"The flash." he proclaims. 

"Who?" 

"The Flash, you know, I run around saving everyone from Metahumans?"

"Nope. Never heard of you."

He looks at me with a little bit of hope in his electric blue eyes. "The name may spark part of my memory from traveling to a different Earth. Earth 1 I think." Kara looks at me funny. "What? I ran too fast because I was late to work! It was an accident but at least I met a man named Barry Allen, who had powers like this guys." I point at The man with lightning streaks on his chest and ears. 

He shakes his head like he was in a trance. "Kyra? Is that you? How come you can fly?" Kara looks at me expecting answers as well. 

"What do you expect of me when I'm from a different planet? Especially when I'm with my sister?" He suddenly has a slack jaw because of the information intake was too fast for him apparently. 

"Wait, this is your sister? She looks nothing like you!" I shift my eyes and hair to their actual colors, blue and dirty blonde. He gasps, not knowing about my other powers. 

"Well that's new. But we should get back to the city, the city could be in danger now." Kara and I nod back to him as we take off. He follows us to our apartment where he changes into his own clothes as we change into ours.

We all come out of our changing places. 

"Oh. OK, I recognize you now! Kyra Knight right? Or is that a cover name." he says as he winks at me.

"Oh my God Barry! You have a girlfriend! But yeah, sort of, my name is Kyra Zor-El."

All of a sudden, Kate comes in and stops as soon as she sees Barry. She starts to suck the air out of his lungs as Kara makes her feel calm with her pathokinesis. He still can't breathe, however, because she never stopped. 

"Kate, he's a friend. Leave him alone." Kate stops and I rush over to him and help him up to the kitchen so I can get him water and food, lots of it.

Once Barry's in the kitchen, I walk over to Kate and wack the back of her head as punishment for taking the breath out of Barry, literally. She screams an ow and rubs the back of her head in the misery of her so called pain. I smirk in triumph and walk back to Barry to help him get back to ok.

"What was that? A vacuum to my lungs? Was that you?" Barry asks, very confused. 

"No, that was my little sister, Kate. Her special power is control of the elements." I say casually, like it's completely normal.

"So what are you guys? Aliens? And if so, What planet? And why here?" 

"Kryptonians, yes, Krypton, and we were stuck in the phantom zone for a while, then we got back on course to earth. Earth has always been a planet for escapees to be safe from others who want to hurt us so of course, we came here." His jaw goes slack, his eyes become bug eyes, and he looks as if his mind exploded. I giggle a little bit before going back to finding the potstickers and pizza for Kara, the burgers and chow mein for Kate, and the macaroni n cheese and hot dogs for me. I'm not as obsessed with Chinese food as the other two.

"So, Barry? You date Iris yet?" he nods very enthusiasticly. 

"You propose yet?" 

"No, I don't know if I can yet. It might be to early." he saddens with every word out of his mouth. 

"Well, at least make sure it's for the right reason at least. Most heros and heroines like to propose either to change the future or to protect their significant other. It's usually not the best idea because either it's either not going to change the future or to get them killed. Do it right, not wrong. How long have you been dating?" 

"About a year now." he states with a slight smile. 

"Then go for it! You guys are the cutest couple ever!" I squeal in excitement for Barry and Iris, causing my sisters to come into the room, alarmed and alert. I just laugh at their protective feelings. But then again, it's very understandable, us being the last women of Krypton. 

"What was that squeal, or what sounded like a scream, about?" Kate asks, but after relaxing and sitting next to Barry at the island, facing the kitchen. 

I explain the situation of Barry and Iris, or Barris (my ship name for them, and yes I'm a fangirl!), to my sisters. Once I finish, Kate's smirking and Kara is jumping up and down excited for Barry. 

"Well, we should get to work and get a little help from the team. You want to come Barry?" I ask politely. He nods. 

"Well, then, race ya to the car!" I shriek in their faces. We all run around in the apartment until we have our stuff together and then go the car area to get to my car. Barry runs around in circles until we run to the car, Kate and I getting there first.

"Well, looks like I just beat the fastest man alive. To a car." I smirk as I get in on the driver's side, Kate and Barry in the back and Kara next to me on the passenger side. 

"Well, to be fair, I had no clue what your car looked like. At all. But hey, nice car." he says. I pull out and get on the road and get to the grant building quickly. 

We all pile out of the car and go to elevators. This going to be very interesting. Very.
