Olivia's Point of View
"What are you talking about?" I let out a strained laugh.
He rolls his eyes as if I should know what he's talking about. "Do you every question why there's guy after guy trying to go out with you? Well the goal is to use you and let everyone know it. They even put money down on who can get you first."
A pang of hurt works it's way from my heart to the rest of my body. It's then consumed and turned into anger.
I'm out of words and my faith in humanity is dead. Boys are actually as stupid as cow manure. All they do is objectify women and it's so stupid.
In a heated fuming mess I try to leave the room. "Not so fast princess." Once again I'm moved back up against the wall. "I have no desire to try and win this 'bet' even though with my charm it wouldn't take that long."
I'm disgusted by his words and while watching my face contort is disgust he adds, "I was just kidding, love." He smirks, showing his white teeth.
"Anyways, it seems that I have to go but I'll be taking you to lunch." He says looking at a message on his phone.
I'm stunned, standing as he's about to leave the room without giving me any explanation. "What makes you think I'll go to lunch with you after what you just did?" I challenge him.
"That was just my opener." He winks before pulling the door open. "Now you're intrigued." He adds, then walks out.
I recompose myself trying to figure out what to do. I'm already 20 minutes late to English so there's no point of even going anymore. I'll just go to the nurses and get some Tylenol, at least it won't count as unexcused in class if I go to the nurses office.
Oh god I need some Tylenol.

Lunch approached faster than usual. After I left the nurses I attended my next three classes where I was bothered by my friends asking where I was first and I just shrugged off their questions, my mind consumed with other thoughts about Mason and this bet.
Maybe there isn't a bet and he just said that to mess with me. Yeah, that's it.
I've been paranoid all day with boys in between classes and how they're talking to me and I'm aware of my surroundings so I don't end up in another empty classroom with the school's hot as hell player.
I walk in between my friends to the courtyard where our table awaits us. When you're high school royalty you tend to have your own lunch table. Just saying.
I take my seat on one side while my friends sit down opposite. Lacey's boyfriend of the week, who I think is Wally, sat down across from her which just so happened to be next to me.
I'm not sure if she noticed or not but he was sitting extremely close to me and at one point put his hand on my knee where I shrugged it off and tried to tell her to get rid of him, but she clearly wouldn't listen.
Nikki sat next to her which left an open seat to my right. I'm about to pull my lunch out of my bag when I realize there is a human being sitting beside me. I sit up resting my arm casually on the table. "May I help you?" I asked lamely.
"I'm here for our date." Mason responds upbeat making sure my friends here. I couldn't help but notice that he sounded like a child opening their presents on Christmas morning. Or how Wally switched from his conversation when he heard the word 'date' pop out of Mason's mouth.
Before I had time to properly form a sentence that would say " you must be delusional if you think I'm going anywhere with you after the stunt you pulled this morning" he grabbed my hand and pulled me up while grabbing my bag with the other hand.
