Putting on the finishing touches of my makeup, I make my way down the stairs to see neither of my parents are home.

It was okay because I didn't want to have to tell them about my new 'boyfriend'.

I made sure to send Nikki a text message last night letting her know I wouldn't need a ride to school today. She kept asking me why but I just ignored the messages.

I hear a car horn outside and open the door to see Mason riding in a convertible with the top down. It was really sexy.

The car! Not him, the car itself was gorgeous.

I make sure he sees me inside before I close the door with a slam. I hear the honk noise again and roll my eyes.

There's a few seconds that go by and I decide I'll stop being petty about him leaving me stranded against my better judgement.

Just as I go to leave I hear a knock at my door. I open the door a little bit taking in his appearance. He did look nice, I'll give him that.

"Do you need to borrow some sugar?" I ask.

"Will you stop being a drama queen and get into the car?" I let out a frustrated sound before trying to close the door on him, but he managed to stick his foot in to hold it open. The door went slamming open and he grabs me by my arm and draws me towards him. I gaze up into his unreadable emerald eyes.

His eyes really are beautiful. I could probably get lost in them all day. The way they're studying me as if he was speaking to me.

"Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" He sounds aggravated. I guess he was trying to figure out what I was thinking. As if I would tell him I thought his eyes were enchanting and captivating me.

"Oh, sorry, no" I blush, shying away from his view.

"Whatever it doesn't matter anyways."
He turns around leaving out of the door with me following close behind him. I go to open the door but he already has the handle and gestures me to get in. I just stare at him for a second.

"Get in." Wow. The kind gesture ruined by words. I buckle my seat belt and ask if he can put up the top. I just spent the past 30 minutes curling my hair and it won't be destroyed by high speed winds.

He groans and presses the button raising the hood. I mumble a small thanks and we get on our way to school.

I'm tired of sitting in silence and decide to start a conversation. "How is this going to work exactly? I don't know anything about you and you knowing what I get to drink doesn't scream 'I'm in this relationship because I like the other person'."

"Stop stressing over everything. All you have to do is pretend you're obsessed with me and that you couldn't bare to be apart from me."

"You want me to act like the ditzy bimbos who always get out of your car? No thank you." I say crossing my arms over my chest.

"Okay princess, stop finding a reason to get offended over everything. That's not what I said. I said you need to be devoted to me and show that I am by far the greatest thing that ever happened to you. By you putting me on a pedestal my credibility goes up, understand?"

"Whatever." Seeing as I'm already pissed off at this point I decide I'm not going to make today easy for him. "I still don't know anything about you." I mumble.

"Gregory."

"What?" I ask confused. Did I miss something?

"My middle name. It's Gregory."

Mason Gregory Carter. Cute.

As I was about to speak I notice we're about to pull into the school parking lot. Part one of my master plan. "Stop the car!" I basically shout, sounding freaked out. He slams on the break and looks at me with concern.
