You're a child being bullied, Belle comes to your rescue.
Belles POV: I am just walking out of the book shop and notice some children picking on another child. I put my book in my bag and rush over to help her/him. "Hey!" They don't even turn around. "Stop this at once!" That seems to get their attention and the five older children turn to look at me. "What do you want?" The boy had a nasty smirk on his face, "why are you tormenting this poor girl/boy?" The other children start snickering and continue to harass the poor girl/boy, "because it's fun and she/he deserves it."
I stare in shock, why would any child deserve this? "What could she/he could have done!?" A cruel smile starts in the corner of his mouth, "she/he was born, but if you care so much you can have her/him." And with a final kick the other kids left her/him alone. I rush over and help the poor child sit up, she/he had tears in her/his eyes, "hey, hey shh it's ok, why don't I take you back to my house and we'll get you all cleaned up?" I see her/him nod and I smile, "my names Belle what's yours?" "Y/f/n." "Come on, my house it just a little ways up the road." I grab her/his hand and we make our way back to my house.
I usher her/him into the house and sit her/him on a stool and then go to grab some rags and water and clean y/f/n up. I walk over and smile and dip the cloth in the warm water, "alright, now just hold still, this might sting a little," I rub the warm water on her/his face, I see her/him wince, "shhhh, shhhh," I then move on to her/his elbows and knees. "So y/f/n, what do you like to do?" She/he shrugs, "aw come on, everyone likes to do something," "well, I do like books," at this I light up! "That's wonderful! Do you have a favorite book?" "Probably Macbeth, do you...do you read?" "I love to read! My favorite is Romeo and Juliette." I see her/him start to show a smile. "Maybe after you're all cleaned up we can go to the book shop and pick up some books, what do you think?" She/he smiles widely and nods. I think I just made a new little friend.
