Chapter 4- Be my Bride

Hello again, Reader! Welcome to Chapter 4. This chapter is juicy and twisty and downright amazing. By the end, you will be applauding my great narrator skills. And that's a promise. By my Bride. What could that mean? Well, you'll just have to find out, won't you? Presenting.......Hort......Wait, What?! He's not supposed to be here, get him offffffff-

(Horts' POV)

*Evil laugh* I've successfully hacked the narrator's system. I puffed up my chest with pride, looking over Teddy's lame castle. You'd think that the son of Arthur would have at least 100,000 square meters of castle land, but no, he only has 99,999 square meters. I glanced at the massive diamond ring tucked in my pocket. Here I come, Sophie. A carriage burst into view. Curious I walked down the steps of the castle to the carriage. The door suddenly opened and smashed me in the face. Then I heard Agatha's voice. "Tedros, hurry up, you damned slowpoke...no, not the flower..." I watched as a flower pot sailed for my head. I ducked just in time for it to not hit my face. But the pot smashed behind my feet, covering me in dirt. DIRT! They have no idea that, for the first time in my life, I cleaned myself properly for Sophie's and my engagement and now I covered in dirt! Then another voice was carried to me. Tedros's voice. "You dragged me out...for some random hunch..." I turned. Stay here and I'd be mincemeat in a couple of seconds. A pillow hit me in the back, knocking me flat onto the ground. Silence. Then I watched as a pair of silver heels stepped out the carriage, followed by royal red and blue boots. They stopped in front of me. Crap. I grinned sheepishly up at Agatha and Tedros, getting ready for the eavesdropping lesson I was sure to receive.

(Anadil's POV)

The weird creepy guy shook the hood back and left us breathless. It was Aric. Just Aric...I closed my eyes in satisfaction...just Aric...WAIT, WHAT?! ARIC!!! ARIC WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!!!!!! I watched as the others paled as well. How could he be here? He smiled, causing me to shiver inside. Look, I now that Nevers aren't known to be the best smilers, but this guy could make the most innocent action look like a death threat. I turned to Sophie. She was standing with her mouth open, the most terrified expression I've ever seen her let out on her face. But then she composed herself, back to perfect Sophie. "Aric, what a pleasant surprise," she stalked over to him and kissed his cheek in welcome, all previous horror gone. He grinned mischievously. "Sophie, Hester, Dot...Anadil," he looked at all of us in turn, his smirk getting wider with each name. When he said my name, he said it with a strange softness almost as if....as if- "What are you doing here!?" Hester snapped, walking in between me and Aric, breaking off our locked gazes. I blushed. Everyone apart from Aric was staring at me as if I was some alien from Mars. I ignored the glares and turned my attention back to Aric. He looked amazing, stunning, breathtakingly beautiful. I inched towards him, feeling a special connection to him.

(Aric's POV)

She inched towards me as if there was a connection between us. I saw Hester glaring, Sophie giving me that flawless smile and Dot, well...being Dot. Anadil...she looked different, her eyes shining bright, her snow white hair pooled around her sincere face. Butterflies exploded in my stomach, making me go all queasy and mushy. Was this what love felt like? No, Nevers don't love. They kill, and hate and do whatever the rules say. They never said that Nevers love. I had come here to plot evil against Camelot, not be some mushy, dovey Everboy. I hardened my gaze, and watched as Anadil retreated the few steps she had taken towards me. Right, time to get down to business. Before I could speak, Hester interrupted me. "It was you, wasn't it? The one that send as the blue flower with the note," she said quietly as realization crossed her features. I smirked. "Yes, honey," I said mockingly, "I sent the note. Shame you don't have all that much of a brain to figure it out." The girls paled so I continued on for more effect. "And Dear Darling Sophie, you followed them, didn't you?" I chided at them enjoying this far too much. "And now you will stay here, in my custody." I gave them one last grin before I clicked my fingers and a cage fell from the roof, locking them into the corner. "Please do me the pleasure of staying quiet. Finding one of these in human size was a pain," I continued. "But feel free to make yourselves comfortable." Hester glared at me so bad that I almost run away. "Goodbye Ladies," I concluded as I left the room. I let out a breath of relief. The witches problem was solved. But before I got to my next task...I ran to the nearest toilet and locked myself in. What? Nevers have to go to the toilet as well, you know.

(Tedros's POV)

Agatha walked on ahead, dragging Hort behind her. I can NOT believe that she's making me do this. I mean, I'm all for saving imaginary people, but now?! Her turquoise gown trailed behind her, looking elegant on the marble floors. "Agatha..." I called. She stopped and faced me with an irritated look on her face. "This is the tenth time you've stopped me." She said.

"Can we talk?"

"No"

"Why not?" I asked earnestly, giving her that look that I know she can't resist. Hort smirked at me from behind Agatha, clearly underestimating my charm skills on her. Well, he's in for a surprise. Agatha expression softened immediately and she pulled me into the nearest room. "Stay here," she called to Hort. He looked at me with a surprised expression and had one last time to give him a smug smile before Agatha shut the door. She leaned against it, studying me as I stood very, very still. Then she walked the few steps that separated us and pulled my head down, kissing my lips.

Let's end there. So that was certainly a very interesting chapter, wasn't it? Chapter 5 is going to be even better and I've already thought of the most hilarious thing to go in there. Well, that's bye for now, Dearest Reader. Chapter 5 is only like, only a couple of days away, right?
