I was awoken by an unbearable pain.

I was in the back of a car; my hands and legs tied up and my mouth shut with a duct tape. I tried to make out where I was just when I noticed a sharp pain on my neck as well. Panic started to sink in as I realized I had been abducted, I started kicking the back of the driver's seat in a frenzy.

"Oh, you're up" A deep voice came from the driver's seat. As my eyes adjusted to the dark, I realized it was the same guy from the park, eyeing me in the rear-view mirror.

He turned around and snapped the duct tape off of my mouth, I winced in pain.

"Who the hell are you and what do you want from me?" I yelled.

He smirked at me and raised his hand. He had a gun locked and loaded, signaling me to shut up. Tears started rolling down my face as I realized just how screwed I really was.

'Stop it Lisa, now is not the time.'

"Relax, I will tell you everything once we reach home" he answered calmly. The calmness in his voice made me panic even more, he was most probably a veteran criminal and was very sure of what he was doing. I didn't have much of a shot outsmarting him. The thought sent shivers down my spine.

I wanted to ask more but the gun in his hand did a great job at shutting me up. I laid there silently as tears ran down my face. My mind quickly jumped to the worst-case scenarios. The more I tried to not think about the things that may await me, the more scared I got. I was convinced that I was never going to see Seb again, and the thought made me sob hysterically.

"Don't cry, we are not going to kill you. If we wanted to, you'd be dead by now." he smirked.  by the way I am George" the man introduced himself. I was confused but stayed silent.

"And you must be Lisa, right?" he asked. I was taken aback, how and why did he know my name?

I started to realize that this kidnapping was not coincidental at all. I was a target long before I even knew it. But why me?

The guy sensed my shock. "Everything will make sense once we reach home." he added.

What could he possibly mean by 'home'. I had so many questions, but I wasn't dumb enough to ask them.

"Here, have this you must be thirsty" he passed a bottle to me. I raised my hands, asking him to untie me. He pondered for a while, looked me up and down, and untied me. He had a look in his eyes that said, 'Don't try anything stupid.'

I took the bottle and examined it, there was some gooey red stuff inside. I looked back at the man, George, suspiciously. He motioned me to drink it. I knew I had no option, and I was parched too, so I unscrewed the bottle and took a gulp.

Warm thick liquid went down my throat, it tasted metallic. It took me a few moments to recognize what it was, and when I did it wasn't a pleasant realization. It was blood.

I spat it out immediately and gagged, trying to get the weird taste off of my tongue. I was absolutely disgusted and enraged. What kind of a disgusting prank was this supposed to be?

I shot a murderous look at George; his smirk now replaced by a somber look.

It was pitch black outside. I was sitting staring at the bottle of blood in my hands, I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that not only was I kidnapped, I was also taken by some blood drinking weirdos. Out of some morbid curiosity, I unscrewed the bottle cap and sniffed the thick liquid inside. It smelt metallic. My stomach growled, and I felt a type of thirst I've never felt before. I asked George for some water, and he passed me a bottle. I was a little suspicious of him, so I carefully inspected the liquid before taking a swig. It was water alright, but it did nothing to quench my ever-growing thirst. I downed the entire bottle, hoping for it to work, but it didn't.

I felt a pang in my head, it was unbearable. I eyed the bottle filled with blood, and as I did so, I felt ravenous. I felt like I had no control over myself. Without thinking I took the bottle and drank. I felt disgusted but at the same time, the pain in my head slowly started to fade. By the time I finished the bottle, I felt energized like never before. a warmth spread over me, and I felt alive.

What. The. F*ck.

I couldn't believe that I just downed an entire bottle filled of blood. I wanted to puke it all out, but at the same time the warmth that enveloped me was too comforting.

A million questions swarmed my brain. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep to avoid the questions I so desperately wanted answered. As I started to fall asleep, I was jerked awake by the inertia of the car stopping.

We had reached 'the home'. A man dressed in all black, just like George, opened the door and let us in. I was then dragged out of the trunk and thrown to the ground by George. The other man shot him an angry look.

After talking in whispers for a minute, both of them exited the garage, locking it behind them.

I was left alone in an empty dark room for God knows how long. I was still tied up, so I wasn't very comfortable as you'd imagine. I still however managed to get a restless and uncomfortable nap. I needed to be in my sense for whatever awaited me.
