A Lone Rogue

Chapter 1

Elise Pov

"Wait for me! Wait!" I called and called but he never turned back. He continued to run leaving me behind.

Then I tripped and fell with my face first. I can feel the pain stinging on my lips. I think I split my lips. Dad was gonna freak out when he saw this!

Then a pair of strong and gentle arms pulled me up.

"You're so clumsy despite being born in Alpha bloodline." the familiar voice said but I was still not able to look into his face. I swear I know him but I can't remember his name.

Suddenly, a loud and annoying noise came getting louder and louder until I can't take it no more.

My eyes shot opened and I looked at my alarm clock. I sighed as I silence the god so annoying sound.

Another dream of my childhood.

I got up and headed for the bathroom immediately and grabbed my toothbrush. Today is the last day I am in London and we would be moving back to our homeland. I don't remember much of it but dad said that the land was amazing and full of trees unlike here.

After I'm done doing my necessities, I headed downstairs and saw my Mom and Dad in the kitchen. They were still close as glue even after twenty years of marriage. That's what mates were and I can't wait to meet mine.

I just said goodbye since I know I would be ignored and soon our house would become their personal hotel. I wouldn't want to be around when my parents do something intimate.

I grabbed an apple on my way out heading for my car. This is my favorite time of the day. To see my baby! My very own and customized Dodge Viper!

I quickly got inside and turned the ignition. The engine roared to life and I just love the sound of it. I drove to my school for the last day. There was nothing interesting on my way aside from the people jogging then bumping to someone because they were busy ogling my car.

Before I even got out of my car fully in the parking lot, I was pulled by my friend Jessa in a sickening tight hug. Yeah bear hugs were not fun.. Not at all..

"We still have a day. Don't be so dramatic." I pat her shoulders and her grip loosen for a bit letting me breathe. "I thought we were done with the drama last week?"

"But your leaving!" She said teary and I just remain still.

Surely who would expect that I would be best friends with Jessa? I hate dramas and she loves it. I like cars and she likes spa. I like wolves and she loves vampires. I love chocolate cake and she hates it. Still we were close and leaving her without saying that I am a werewolf until the end made me feel so guilty. That's right she was a human and I am a werewolf. We're two different peas but were still in one pond. That's all that matters.

We spent our day together since there were not a lot of class. It's end terms so teachers were not that active to held class. We laughed and enjoyed the day like there was no tomorrow. said goodbye to my friends that I can't help but cry. They didn't know they were friends with a werewolf. They never knew why I would always pick a werewolf over a vampire.

I drove home felt depleted of energy. for a seventeen year old, Jessa is sure still a ball of energy. I opened the door and saw my parents sitting on our living room. It was only chair left that is not boxed. Everything is ready to go back, except me. I like it here but I will be alpha very soon and Dad insist that we go back.

"You're bag is upstairs. Let's go home."

Sigh... Midnight flight sucks..
