Elise' Pov

From the moment I heard that someone is on our territory, my blood boiled with sudden rage. The thought of someone murdered right in front our faces was a great shame and I would do anything to redeem our pride.

Red Sun pack is no push over.

I gathered our warriors and rallied towards the east. I knew my guts were telling me something is out there. It has been the rouge ever since!

We marched silently and keeping everyone alert. Rouge.. Why does this trail seem so familiar to me?

After a few while crouching just to level ourselves with the bushes, I finally saw a house.... A very familiar house I might add. Is this also one of my childhood?

The house seem like a couple of storms trampled it. The roofs were barely attached and every windows were broken. Seriously it was like a haunted house.

When we were a few steps away from the house, a warning growl erupted from the house. It was something I never heard. Nothing so Dangerous and threatening sound could even compare to it. That came from the house..

Then I suddenly stepped into something and made a deafening loud crack of something hollow. I slowly looked down and saw a bone.. It was definitely a bone.. A bone of something big.. A bone from a leg of a human.

I gasped and everybody went still. curious of what surprised me. Then it hit us like a solid punch to the gut. A sickening smell around the house. Blood... Lots of blood were spilled around here. Now that I look carefully, there were traces of battles, many battles that left a distinct mark of their own.

I swear as I look around, there were countless remains of the fallen. Bodies that rotted through time. Death was very prominent and others also noticed what gave me the chills. The air is laced with our fear and as if on cue, a wolf came out.

It was large, large as my father, intimidating than my father. There were no beauty of it but just disturbing scars and marks of countless battles it fought. It's fur is dirty and covered with dried blood. It's ear have many holes and it's shoulders were full of bite marks. There was only a little unblemished fur on it.

What in the world happened to him to have such scars?

Then it stood squarely staring at me. It's gaze was something chilling and making my legs weak. It was plain scary to look at him. It was like watching a horror movie. You know what is it but it wouldn't help to ease the fear as it stare back at you.

"Shift!" My dad commanded him and his head snapled towards my Dad's direction.

Before anyone could realize, the wolf charged at my father in full speed. It collided with him along with a sickening sound of broken bones.

Then all hell break lose and shifted to attack it. Warriors attacked as they were trained but they were being knocked down not very gently. The wolf don't have any trace of being trained. It only have its instincts as it fights. Some of them managed to bit him but they were bitten twice as hard as they bit him. It's as if he don't feel any pain and just attack who ever comes close to him.

Soon he was bleeding and barely standing. All the warriors were heavily wounded and some seem to be dying as it seems. Only him and me were left standing.

Fear was enveloping me and my legs seem to be bound to the earth. His stare alone was enough to freeze me on spot. He was barely standing and holding his ground while I am perfectly fine and unscratched but why is it seem that I am the one who is knocking on death's front door?

Then to make it more dramatic, the clouds covering the moon parted to show his true form. He was ash colored if you disregard the distinct color of dried blood and blood that were oozing from his fresh wounds. His frame was mighty despite the state he is in. This is the single rouge that managed to drive out all outsiders. Something inside me flickered and somehow he seem so different now.

I shrugged it off and growled at him. Somehow I snapped from being frozen and a renewed strength and courage poured in my body. I snarled and lunged at him shifting mid air. He just stood his ground not even flinching.

Then I tried to bit his neck with the momentum I gained but he stepped aside making me bite his leg instead. There was no whimper nor yelp in pain. Just an angry growl from my side.

As I looked at his direction, His eyes were blazing with unworldly rage etched in his eyes. Then it came.. His jaws opened wide enough that I thought it was enough to devour me whole.

I closed my eyes, waiting for the excruciating pain. I just hoped that it would be instant and would not take long to take my poor life so I would not suffer. I waited for it but it never came.

I opened my eyes again and saw he retracted his jaws and just stared back at me. He was looking at me like he knows me. His eyes were not crazed nor under blood lust. It was the person that owned the body.

Then he fell. Breathing heavily and gasping for air. I looked at him and whimpered for some reason while looking how many bites he suffered. He was literally covered by it!

Then he lost consciousness. For some reason unknown, my wolf stirred wildly at the thought of the rogue dying. I frowned and questioned her why show a stranger such concern but she just snarled and told me to keep him alive.

Then another realization came to me. He lost consciousness but he didn't shift back to his human form. It's as if he don't want to shift back even after losing consciousness.

Some warriors begun to wake up and went closer. They snarled and growled and tried to deliver the killing blow but I growled and stood protectively in front of him. They were confused and looking at me confused.

"Shift!" I roared through mind link. They bowed and shift back in all their birthday suit.

I went behind the tree but not after sending a warning glare. There I shifted and put on the extra clothes tied on my paws. I went out and saw them on basketball shorts. Snarling and growling at the unconscious rogue.

"Bring every injured ones back to pack! Grab that wolf with us back. No questions allowed. I want everyone out of this sickening place!" I commanded and everyone bowed in respect. Some of them grabbed the still unconscious ones and three of them lift the huge wolf. It was funny how three grown wolves grunted in pain. Is the rogue too heavy for them? I laughed mentally at their incompetence.

Soon everyone head out and I was the last remaining one. I looked again and I seriously feel like I know this place well. I looked back into the ruined house and walked inside.

When I opened the door, countless marks of a wolf's paws were on the walls. Pictures were broken and there is no sign of life. I wonder if that rogue just came here by chance. I went to the walls and looked at the now faded and broken pictures.

I grabbed one and saw a family or seem like it. Their faces faded so I was not able to recognize them. I grabbed another one and dusted before faces came and stared back at me. It was indeed one family. The mother and father were smiling happily and a little child was smiling with them.

He have bright green and lively eyes, a messy brown hair and a smile worthy of a sunrise. Somehow I seem to recognize him. I know this child... Think.. Think harder...

Then suddenly when I tried to grab another picture, a name behind the picture frame came to vision.

Mike...

Then memories of him flooded back into me. This house... Mr. And Mrs. Valdez, the tree outside, the lawn, the trails.. It all makes sense now... I know this family so well..

How come I forgot them? Is Mike that rogue earlier? How come he remained here when everyone in the pack went to london for ten years?

What is happening here?

AN: so there goes we now knew a name. Is he really Mike??

Muhahahhaa more scenes soon!
