A Lovely Shade of Blue (Nightcrawler x reader)

Chapter 2

Hey guys! So this is just before the first chapter which is in (y/n) POV. Hope you enjoy!
Professor Xavier's POV
"So, how are the classes going?" I asked Hank as we walked towards Cerebra. (Cerebra is the updated Cerebro which is the machine that professor X uses to look for mutants. It was created by Charles Xavier and Magneto, it was then later enhanced by Dr. Hank McCoy aka Beast.)

"They are going good, everyone is doing pretty ok with their powers now, some need a little help on tweaking them but everything is fine." Hank explained. Once we got to the door leading to Cerebra it scanned my eyes.
"Welcome professor." Said the door as it opened and let Hank and I inside. I wheeled myself to the headset that sat on the table, Hank picked it up to check if everything was in order.
"Thank you Hank." I said as he passed the headset to me, he just nodded.

Inside Cerebra
Once I put the helmet on there were blue light,or mutants, all around me. They were doing their own thing, walking around, eating with family, going to school. But something caught my eye as I was looking through them, I zoomed in on them and saw a young girl, her name was (y/n), she had a blue tail, red eyes, (h/c) hair and (s/c) skin. She was running, there was a little girl in the middle of the road with a truck speeding down the street towards her. She grabbed onto the little girl and jumped out of the street and to the side, the truck just missing them. The mother came and thanked her but a crowed gathered around her and started saying things, horrible things, things no person nor mutant should ever hear.
'She's a mutant! One of those freaks!' 'Go back to were you came from you freak! We don't need vermin like you here!' The words echoed as I heard this.

'Why? I was trying to help. I'm not bad, none of us are.' (Y/n) thought.
She had terror written all over her face. She then ran as fast as she could out of the crowed.
She got to an apartment and slid down the door crying, her skin then changed to a navy blue and her tail swayed Ferociously as an old lady came up to her. She started to cry into the old lady's shoulder, her cries of pain and sorrow got louder and my eyes started to water as I watched this unfold.
"I was only trying to help. I didn't do anything wrong." She whispered into the frail, old lady's shoulder. The old lady comforted her as her cries were no longer heard.
Outside Cerebra

I put the helmet down and I noticed I was crying. Everything I had just seen, it was horrible.
"Professor are you ok? What happened?" Hank asked as I looked at him I simply said
"We are going to (your town/village) (t was set in the U.K. So you are going to live there so that it's easier. I'm sorry if you don't live in the U.K. But it just makes it easier for me to write)

Hank and I started our journey to (your town)
"So what are they like?" Hank asked as he was driving out the gates.
"They are very kind as much as I can tell. What I saw wasn't very nice but they do have some amazing powers." I replied as I admired the scenery, it was very beautiful.
"What are their powers?" Hank asked again as he looked at me for a brief second.
"Well I think they are a shapeshifter like mystique, but there is something very different about her. She had a tail and blood red eyes. But I can't tell if that's all she can do." I explained as we entered (your town). The people were chatting and laughing, the shops were open and very lively. We approached the apartment that I saw (y/n) enter.
"This is the place." I said as Hank stopped the car.
"Are you sure?" He asked me. I just simply nodded.
Hank helped me up the steps of the apartment, at the top was the door that (y/n) slid down as she closed and locked it before crying even more.

Hank knocked on the door and we waited for a few minutes before (y/n) opened the door. She had (s/c) skin, (h/c) hair and her hood covered her eyes.
"Can I help you two gentlemen?" She asked politely.
"Yes, please can we come in? We have something's we would like to discuss with you." I asked. She nodded and stepped a side for us to enter.
