Your POV
I woke up in my bed, well actually Lin and my bed. We had been a married couple for 7 years now, long enough to know that Lin usually lays on the right side of the bed. He also usually wakes up at 7:15. But when I turn over, his side is empty. The clock reads 6:21. I get up and put my hair into a really messy bun.

As I walk down the halls of our home, I can hear Lin talking on the phone. It's weird cause he seems to be calling multiple people and saying the same thing like "hi!" "How about f/c?" "Great thanks" "no, this is not Timmy... wait who's Timmy???" I laugh as he says the last one. He must have heard because he says "hey I gotta go" then hangs up. I see his head peek out of his office. He smiles and walks to my side.

"Hey birthday girl!" He says wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Huh???" I ask as I pause. But then I remember,"OMG IS THAT TODAY???"

"You betcha!"

"I can't believe it, I forgot!"

"How can you forget the day that everyone treats you like a queen and showers you in gifts?!" He ask. We both break out into a laughing fit.

"Well, maybe there are more important days." I reply as Lin dramatically gasps and places his hand on his chest. I giggle at this. Lin is so cute when he does that.

"Well I knew that you would somehow forget, so I planed the whole day out! Starting with a wonderful meal of f/b/f (fav breakfast food)"

I followed as he skipped to the kitchen and put on his cooking robe.

Lin's POV
Y/N and I hopped into a taxi as we made our way to the mall. I was gonna keep her distracted while Daveed, Ant and Pippa decorate Y/N and my apartment in f/c decorations. Jazzy and Renee were getting the cake. Oak and Leslie were wrapping gifts.

Y/N and I shopped, ate and did all of that stuff. Soon it was time to go home for Y/N's surprise party.

We walked up to the door and she unlocked it. We walked into a pitch black room.

"Lin? Can you turn on the li-"

Just then, the lights turned on and everyone screamed "SURPRISE!"

The whole cast of Hamilton was here in our apartment with f/c decorations, cake, gifts, etc. everyone rushed to Y/N's side and gave her hugs. We all sang happy birthday as pippa cut the cake and gave Y/N a piece.

I plopped down on our bed with Lin beside me. I smiled and hugged him.

"Thanks for such an amazing birthday Lin." I said.

"My pleasure birthday girl." I could hear him whisper. I smiled and we both fell asleep
