AN: This is going to be a long chapter lol:

"You know it may have only been thousands of years ago, but maybe if I tell you about the real Homeworld, you'll remember Lapis. Not how Homeworld was back then or now, I mean our Homeworld" Pearl said quietly.

The air shifted around us, going from a free and relaxing setting to a shouting match of our past faults, and then it returned to a relaxing calm setting although the tension was still there. An awkward silence passed as the blue gem standing behind me looked at the ocean through the window's clear view. Despite the awkwardness and tension, she at last spoke up from behind.

"I may not remember like you Pearl, but would you mind telling me what this other 'Homeworld' was like?" The blue gem asked the taller gem.

"It was before the Diamond Authority was formed. We were on the Unknown planet now named Planet Zero. Planet Zero was plagued with factions, many, many factions. I was just recently formed so being new to a sea full of outsiders was strange. I can't quite recall what happened because that was over 10,000 years ago. However, what I do remember was becoming a servant to the Legendary Gem that was erased from our history. Their name was Starlite. Starlite belonged to the Zirkan faction, typically comprised of a deadly band of assassins and thieves. Starlite was their leader in essence. I was found in a wastelands by Starlite, along with their group. Considering Pearls was quite rare, Starlite took me in when I had no where to go, no way to know, and no way how to fathom the life I lived many millennia's later." I paused glancing at Lapis, she was still following along surprisingly.

"Okay, maybe that does ring a bell, the Zirkan faction." Lapis twirled a strand of hair with her index finger, contemplating the syllables of a once familiar moniker.

"You know, tonight's going to be long with all the story telling I'll be doing right?" I asked, edge weighing in a bit on my tone, though the statement was more rhetorical than anything.

Lapis shrugged easily with slight grin, something I wasn't accustomed to yet. Though I took her laxness as my cue to continue.

"The Zirkan faction was one of the biggest factions on Planet Zero, nearly owning half of the planet with other factions crumbling at their feet. They were marvelous, unstoppable, but one ponder led to their demise. By then, it was around 2,000 years later after I joined the faction that the Diamond Authority was formed.

Many believe that their formation was a spectacle for the ages. Sure to some it is, but that's how the Diamonds want history to be taught. That their regime was the dawn of greatness and impervious to all offense. However, it was the product of misguided intention. In truth, no one really remembers how the Zirkan faction's notorious Gem creater, Zircon, created the Diamonds. Documentation was of little use back then, unless it was drawing up territory maps or cryptic messages.

Regardless of origin, it brought the anarchy of the planet to a halt. Revolutionary, as some would say, but it was also morbid in nature. The Diamonds were created as the result of an experiment gone horribly wrong. They were to strong, to unbreakable, they were to perfect. When the Diamonds took over it was just 3 of them, White, Yellow and Blue. They created order, but they also destroyed every gems freedom and ability to be themselves. They created the Gem Empire of the Galaxies and Solar Systems, with their hierarchy ways they dominated, every gem that refused to join their growing Empire were slaughtered left and right. This was known as the "Great Order of the Diamonds" it was great for a little while but then they just became dictators to their own kind. This was when Pearls were made to represent their Diamonds, many were shattered because their design didn't appease the Diamonds until the Pearls 2.0 came out. Blue Pearl and Yellow Pearl are both 2.0sm However I'm from the original gen of Pearls. Eventually 500 years later after establishing their Diamond Authority they moved their Homeworld to where Homeworld is now. They rewrote the gem history never including the time before the Diamonds otherwise there'd be uproars more rebellions and it'd be the "Great Order of The Diamonds" all over again. Planet Zero was abandoned and was just torn page out of an old notebook." Sighing deeply I glanced back again at Lapis who was beside me and sure enough she was still listening.
