I have to add another goal to my growing list of goals-dedicated-to-me-by-Jule, and today's one was pretty spectacular if you ask me. Not because I'm his girlfriend nor because it was "mine", but because it was indeed great.
Jule has an incredible perception of the game, where everyone will be and where the ball might end up. Today's goal was pure sense of where to be and when be there.
Have you ever played Pinball? You know how that little ball keeps bouncing like crazy into the walls?! Well, the football was pretty much doing the same thing when he decide to run back and guess what?! It ended up in his right foot and right into the net.
Friends, this is amazing! Sandro may have scored a hat-trick, but Jule's goal was great! Not to mention Kimmi's game. What a player he is.
By the end of the game Jogi decided to sub him, which I kinda liked, if I'm honest. Yeah, I'm still worried about his knee and the time off he won't have this year and the next (hopefully).
"I SCORED!" he entered the room dancing. Well, trying to. And all I could do was laugh really hard about. He doesn't have a single dancing bone in his body.
"Well, we should be really thankful that you play football, right?!" I said wiping away the tears I shed for laughing too much.
"Hey! I'm a good dancer." he pouted at me.
"Whatever makes you happy, mon amour."
He laid all of his belongings by the couch and jumped into the bed hugging me after he landed.
"I'm so happy we won. They weren't very nice, though."
"I wouldn't be if someone said I shouldn't be playing for a spot in the world cup." I reminded him and he nodded.
"I know, but... He wasn't even there and they hit us from everywhere."
"I saw. And saw you walking away on their captain after he fouled you." I laughed a little. "I'm laughing, but you should have stayed."
"Yeah right, to be fouled again."
"Oh my God, so cute being a baby!" I laughed squeezing his cheeks. "You did great, though. Can't wait to see you playing in Russia next week."
"I can't wait to play. Would you like some Russian goals?"
"Understand one thing, I'll never deny your goals, doesn't matter where they come from. Well, it matters that they come from your foot, but still." I completed along with his laugh.
"That's kinda obvious, liebe, since they're my goals." he said, still laughing.
"Just to make extra clear."
"Sure." he was still laughing. Such a dork.
"Hey, stop laughing and let's celebrate your win and my goal!" I stood up and reached for his hand.
"Can't we celebrate here?!"
"Later, Jule, later."
