Class was finally over and I brought her to my group of friends in the hallway. "Hey, guys. I want you to meet somebody." I greeted, waving at my 3 companions. I scooted to the side to reveal her, who was standing with her books clutched to her face and her skateboard in her left hand, dangling at her side.

I groaned and pushed the books down slightly, revealing her beautiful blue-green eyes. "Wow." Calum gasped silently. "Guys, this is......." I started, but then realized one thing.

I didn't even know her name!

"Wow, good job Luke. You don't even know who she is." Ashton rolled his eyes. "I met her this morning." I shrugged. She brought her books down to her hip and cleared her throat confidently. "Hi. I'm Stevie McHall. You are?" she said, extending her hand towards Calum. "Calum. Calum Hood." he smiled, shaking her hand. He was acting really shy which was weird because he hit on girls all the time.

"That's a cool name." she complimented,  giving him a small smile. His eyes widened as did mine as I stared at Calum.

Calum Thomas Hood was actually blushing because of a girl!

"I'm Michael Clifford." Michael said impatiently, annoyed at how much attention Calum was getting instead of him. "Clifford. You don't look like a big red dog. Except for your hair, but its awesome."

Michael's mouth molded into a wide grin as somebody finally complimented his hair. "And this is - "

"Ashton. I know." she grumbled, cutting Michael off. "Well you guys know each other pretty well. Are you friends?" I asked. "No! He's the high school quarterback and is dating that obnoxious tramp." she snapped. Surprisingly, Ashton didn't retaliate because we all knew she was right.

"You seem like a cool girl, Stevie. Are you and Luke a....thing?" Calum said, wiggling his eyebrows jokingly. I punched him in the arm and he pouted as I shook my head. I looked at Stevie and she was looking at me with a goofy smile on her face. A small giggle escaped her mouth, causing me to laugh, too.

I think this was the first time I actually paid attention to Stevie's facial features. She had beautiful blue-green eyes, as I mentioned before. She didn't wear makeup, and I'm glad she didn't because she has natural beauty. Her lips are small and red, but without lipstick. Freckles covered her face as if somebody sprinkled them all over, and it was really cute. "Still staring, Luke?" she smirked.

My eyes widened and I shook my head quickly, laughing nervously. My buddies cracked up behind me and I shot them a glare. "Whatever. Hey, I gotta get to class. Don't get lost." she laughed and waved at us as she skated down the hall.

"You better keep her and treat her good, dude, or else I will." Calum chuckled. "We're not even together and we don't feel that way about each other." I shrugged, but I knew that 2nd part wasn't entirely true.

Stevie most likely didn't feel that way about me, but I wouldn't be so sure that I didn't.

She's cool, she's awesome, and there's something about her that makes me keep coming back for more.
