-The Perilous Play-

After studying the photo, we turned our attention towards the pamphlet, it was a poster for a play doing its world tour, and it said its last destination was the estate. I began to read its writing out loud, "The beautiful play, 'lost lovers' is doing its final stop in its world tour at Wamberly Hall, a beautiful estate that is perfect for a beautiful play to be shown. The play will begin at 9:30 PM sharp in the back theatre, I'm sure you're dying to see it!" Everyone looked at eachother, there was no theatre at the back of the house, before we could continue to talk we heard music playing from the back of the house, it sounded beautiful, almost like opera. "Guys, it's 9:30." Bridgette said, sweating from fear and confusion.

"Should we go?" Ben asked. "Well, I mean it's probably where the next evil is, so yeah." Laura said. We began to walk around to the back of the house, leaving the wedding ceremony behind. It almost felt like James and Ben were haunting us, filling our minds, leading us through the tasks. Even though we knew that wasn't possible, right? When we came to the other side of the house we saw a sight very different to the graveyard, it actually looked happy, it was a giant theatre with hundreds of people lining up to get their tickets. "Are they, like, ghosts?" Jake asked, his voice shaky. "I'll go try it out, if I die make sure to not go near those things." Chris said half joking. We watched him walk up behind a tall lady in one of the lines, she had a sparkly purse and a soft, smooth purple jacket.

Chris took three deep breaths and tapped her on the back. His hand went straight through her back, she didn't even flinch. We all sighed with relief and followed Chris into the magical theatre. It was quite hard to think that looked so happy and almost Disney like, could be so evil and kill so many people, including possibly one of us. We waltzed through the large entrance, past the snack bar and straight into the actual theatre. Before we could even take any of it in a man who looked like one of the actors jumped out from behind a wall. We all screamed while he apologised for acting do suddenly.

"Where have you been? You've all missed rehearsals and now the show is about to start without you!" The man said annoyed. "Uh, we don't know you." Sierra said confused. "What are you talking about? Im Daniel! The owner of this production and one of the actors!" Daniel said waving his arms out. "That's not ringing any bells." I said. Daniel looked offended, like we had just said something really rude to him. "You guys must be really tired from last weeks rehearsals, they were pretty exhausting." Daniel said trying to keep calm. "Look, I'm sure you'll all remember everything when we get backstage. Follow me." We all followed him, confused and perplexed about who this man was.

We came all around the theatre, it looked absolutely stunning, none of us had any idea how this got here and who Daniel was, but at least the place we were at wasn't absolutely horrifying like before at the wedding. We got backstage and saw what you would expect if you were backstage at a play, there were people everywhere, running around and shouting at each other. This whole place felt like the exact stereotype of a play from maybe around 90 years ago. "Now go meet up with the cast, they need you for a favour." Daniel said pushing us over to another group of actors, looking positively petrified.

"This is Sarah, there's Logan and over there is Ricky." Daniel said quickly introducing us to them. "Hi?" Sierra said trying to sound as nice as she could while Daniel walked off shouting at other people. "Hey." Logan said flatly. "Uh, Daniel said you guys need us for a favour, what is it?" Bridgette asked. "We don't know who, but someone in the crew or the cast is a serial killer. And we need to find out before the play starts or we could all die." Sarah and Ricky said together. I could almost feel the magic and happiness of this place drain out of the walls. It felt like we were back to normal stuff now. "How do you know there's a serial killer?" Laura asked slightly impatiently. "We've got messages, threats if you will. They say the lead act and the rest of the cast will be brutally murdered right on stage, in front of every one." Ricky responded in a smart tone. "Haven't you told the police?" Ben asked. "Of course, but they don't believe us, we need evidence. And if we don't prove it to them by the time the play starts, we could all die." Sarah said depressingly.
