We started with 9, and now we were down to 4, with 3 gems still left to recover, even though we had the numbers, the future was uncertain, multiple people could end up dying for one cause, then we would be in trouble. By now everyone left had done a death challenge, but now the gloves were coming off and we could tell that something big was going to go down, and whoever said they had been watching us on our note definitely seemed important. We continued to walk up the spiral staircase until we left the basement and found ourselves back in the dining hall.

"Well, let's put this gem in the book I guess." Chris said sighing. We were all unbelievably sick of all this death, and it was almost impossible to stay positive in a situation like this, and it was beginning to hit Chris hard, I don't know if he can go much further, but I didn't say anything to the group just in case. I handed Sierra the gem and she placed it in the spot and the next light lit up on the cover, making us all sigh with relief. "2 down, 3 to go. Should we look at Ben on the death page?" Bridgette asked. Sierra turned to the death page and saw the fifth frame had an image of Ben, his eyes were glowing and bleeding down his cheeks at the same time. "Oh, that's brutal!" I said, almost disgusted by the image.

"So, do we check the next page for the clue?" Chris asked. Sierra nodded and turned to the page with the clown mask, and once again, cursive text was slowly revealed saying yet another riddle. But before we could read it, we heard cackling sounds from the garden. "What the hell is that?" Sierra said nervously. "Whatever it is, it doesn't sound nice..." Bridgette said growing more and more scared. We then began to hear loud whispers fill our ears and we all instantly screamed. "Go to the garden NOW!" The whispers said turning into orders. They continued to chant the same sentence over and over again, and we all continued to scream and scramble around the room. "WHAT DO WE DO?" Sierra said in between screams. "LETS JUST GO TO THE GARDEN AND OUT OF HERE!" I said leading the group out into the garden where we got the fright of our lives.

In front of us was what looked like a man covered in blood, he had white eyes and was cackling evilly at us. We were absolutely petrified to say the least.
"IVE BEEN WAITING LONG ENOUGH MY PRETTIES! THE TIME HAS COME! ITS THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR YOU LOT! YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE THIS PLACE, GOOD LUCK SURVIVING, BECAUSE NONE OF YOU ARE LEAVING THIS PLACE ALIVE! HAHAHAHA!" He screamed at us. We all screamed and stepped back in response. "Who are you?" Chris shouted at him. "THE MAN WHO INVITED YOU HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! YOU THINK YOUR'E IN CONTROL, WELL GUESS WHAT? YOU'RE NOT! DO YOU REALLY THINK ALL YOUR FRIEND'S DEATHS WEREN'T PLANNED? I HAD THE ORDER READY BEFORE YOU VICTIMS EVEN ARRIVED! I KNOW WHO'S NEXT, AND WHO'S AFTER THAT, AND I WILL KEEP GOING UNTIL ALL OF YOU ARE DEAD! YOU'RE JUST THE PRESHOW FOR TONIGHTS REAL EXTRAVAGANZA! ONCE I HAVE YOU OUT OF THE WAY, ALL OF THIS PETTY EARTH WILL BE MINE!" He screeched. We all gasped and ran back into the house screaming at each other while he cackled and disappeared in a purple cloud of smoke. His evil laugh stuck in our heads.

We found ourselves back in the dining hall and were all shouting over each other, unsure and terrified at the same time. "Who was that guy?!" Bridgette shouted. "Didn't you hear him? He said that all these deaths were PLANNED and he has already decided our fates! How does that even work!" Sierra said. "That means that Ben's death just then was all controlled by that creep! Just like everyone else's!" Chris screamed. "GUYS! SHOSH!" I shouted over them. They all instantly went silent. "Whoever that guy is, he's trying to get into our heads, and we can't let him! He wants us to fail! Which will just make us even more determined to beat him! The only way for us to get home is if we keep getting these gems and if we keep putting them in this damn book! So, we just need to forget about him and read the clue in the book, who's with me?" I said taking control once again. The three of them slowly raised their hands, and I smiled putting my hands on my hips. "Now, what's this clue?" I said.

Sierra opened the book and saw what the revealed text had said and read it aloud to me, Chris and Bridgette. "The Wamberly carnival is in town, a place full of games, wonder and fun! But to enter through it's magical doors, you must find four keys, those keys can unlock a chest that will contain your next clue. But beware, the candy girl has been released from her cell, if she lays eyes on you, your days are numbered. If she captures you, you are out of the game, if all of you are caught then you will lose your gems and start from the beginning." Sierra finished reading and closed the book. "Ok, we can't let this 'candy girl' catch us. If we start again, we won't have enough people to get all the gems!" Chris said. "I have a feeling that's exactly what that guy we saw before wants to happen, we have to prove him wrong. Now, let's get searching!" Bridgette said. We all nodded and looked around.
