Can't drown my demons

A wave of ice cold water submerged my body as I sunk to the bottom of the pool. My thoughts consumed me as I felt myself hold my breath, the pool was somewhere I had a love/ hate relationship with; But here I was in a plan black bikini top at the bottom of it. I heard the loud music that was playing off my speakers above ground, Kendrick Lamar being muffled by the water. My breathing was getting shorter as I stayed under. I had a couple of bigger sized rocks in my hand, I opened my eyes as I scanned the pool. My H/C was floating up towards the surface, as I stayed firmly on the bottom.
Bubbles surrounded me as I saw the guy I loved fully clothed grab me.
Yelling; which let all of my air out and created more bubbles, blocked my vision of him trying to grab me. "Damn it Ryan leave me alone!" Muffled but he could still hear me yelling at him. He grabbed all the rocks out of my hands and threw them somewhere else. More and more water was entering my lungs by now, I was truly scared to die now. My only instinct was to scream more for help, I was drowning and Ryan floated back up. I couldn't float up fast enough, more bubbles rose as he jumped back in to save me. I tried to flail my arms, trying to swim up but my bathing suite bottoms got tangled in the drain. More screams escaped and so did tears; blurring my vision.
Strong hands grabbed me and planted their lips on mine. I felt more air enter my mouth as my eyes opened I soon realized Ryan was trying to save me but I was still stuck. I felt my bottoms rip as Ryan's body engulfed mine but it was getting hard to hold my breath. My eyes were closing and black spots danced across my vision. One of Ryan's arms firmly held me as the other swam, but I couldn't keep my eyes open.

I felt pressure on my chest and the feeling of air going into my lungs, over and over again. I shot up, coughing up water as Ryan had an arm around my back supporting me. Tears flooded both of our eyes as Ryan quietly repeated him self,"It's okay... you're okay, Im not going any where!" He slowly rubbed his hand up and down my arm as he kissed my forehead. "Don't you ever think about trying to leave me again, you scared me baby girl!" I was uncontrollably crying but soon responded with "I'm so sorry, I love you so much!" He turned me around, cupped my cheeks and kissed me passionately.
