My eyes lazily opened on the early Saturday morning, to the smell of bacon and what smelt like waffles. My hand felt for the edge of the Duvet as I pulled it back, exposing my bare legs only covered in shorts. Dangling my bare feet over the side of the bed I began to stretch while yawning. Tangling  my fingers in my hair I threw it back up into a nicer messy bun. My feet padded against the wood floor in the hallway as I walked towards the steps. "Ryan?" Shuffling was followed by a raspy voice that responded with "You're Up!" My feet hit the landing of the stairs as I could see Ryan working over the stove.
My arms wrapped around his waist as he flipped the bacon, making it sizzle and pop, "Morning beautiful." My heart fluttered as the words left his mouth like usual. "Morning hot stuff." A low chuckle rose from the back of his throat as he turned around facing me. "So I was thinking..." I nodded my head to show him to go on, "how about we have a Lazy day today? Like watch a bunch of movies, I heard we're supposed to get a storm in an hour or two." A smile planted it's self on my face as I eagerly responded by running to the living room to grab multiple DVDs. "Okay so what should we watch first..." I started as I walked slowly back into the kitchen, reading the movie titles, "We have 'The Ring', 'The original poltergeist', 'Nemo' , and all of the 'final destinations' ?" A hmm Noise left his mouth as he stood putting our food on a plate, trying to choose one. "How about all of the Final Destinations, because then it can last us 'Most' of the day." I simply nodded and placed the first one into the DVD player, waiting for the loading screen to pop up.

After eating breakfast we were on the beginning of the second movie of the series when a huge crash of thunder rolled over the neighborhood, causing our power to cut out; leaving us in the dark aka a black out. "So I guess this really is a 'Lazy day' because now the powers out, huh babe?" A small giggle escaped my lips as the words left his mouth.

I felt my eyes getting heavier as we laid on the couch, soon they closed as everything got tuned out except the rain hitting the roof and Ryan lightly singing. My thoughts slowed down as well as my breathing. A simple "I love you" left my mouth as I fell deeper asleep. A kiss was soon planted on my forehead after followed by a "I love you too."
