Just Mia and I

"WHAT?!" I screamed, "I thought he was your boy friend!"Everything he said was just lies?" I was talking (well, actually screaming) to my best friend Mia.

"That's what I said," said Mia. "He's such a jerk. He just saw another girl and decided that she was prettier than me. Then, he tried to act like she was his cousin. What a doofus!"

"Hey, Jylian! Hi, jerk face!"

That was my brother. He just happens to hate Mia.

"Go away! I feel bad enough without you here to torment me!"

"Jeez someone's grouchy!"says Ethan.

"Just go away! Mia is right, you are an idiot!"

Ethan walks away. Right as he does, Bobby comes over.

I'm so sorry!" Bobby says. "I was wrong and I-"

"Save it," groans Mia,"I know you're not really sorry. I wish you would just leave me alone! So what are you doing here? Did things not work out with Anna, your "cousin"?

"It's not like that!"

"Yes it is! just leave me alone, you two- timing jerk!"

Mia and I turned and walked away from Bobby with dignity.

"You did pretty good back there, Mia!"

"Thanks, I just wish he would leave me alone."

"Tell me about it. Guys can be CRAZY!"

In english today, Bobby and Mia started passing notes. Bobby was the one to start it.

Bobby: Babe, I'm sorry. Will you give me a second chance?

Mia: No. I already said it, you're not sorry, and don't call me "babe"!

Bobby: No? Why not? I'm everything you've ever wanted. Trust me, come back to me and you'll be happy!

Mia: It's because of that attitude that I already wanted to break up with you. You just made it easier.

Bobby: I'm still not gonna give up.

Mia: I'm just gonna pay attention to class now.

Bobby gave Mia another note. Mia ripped it up right in his face.
