Just Mia and I

Hospitalized

I wake up in the E.R. I hear someone talking. It's Cecelia.

She's saying,"I see you've woken up. Your scrawny, little boyfriend tried to save you, but ended up just the same as you. He's got the strength of a four year old. I would say the same to you, but that would be exaggerating. Your not strong enough for that."

That's all I heard before I fell asleep again.

Jylian's p.o.v.

I heard footsteps coming. I quickly got back into my hiding place. It was Cece. She was saying something to Mia.

I saw Mia fall back asleep.

I saw her grab something. I then realized what it was. A KNIFE!!! I saw what she was doing. she was trying to cut the cord to Mia's oxygen tank. She tried to kill Mia!

She fell to the floor with a weak "ugh". I had a sleeping shot in my hand. Now that Mia and Cece were asleep, I figured I would go to sleep. I laid down in an empty hospital bed. I laid down and just looked at how peaceful she was. I tossed and turned, but I still couldn't sleep. I sat in bed thinking about what to do now. I sat for a little while longer, then I remembered Sam.

I got up, and slowly tiptoed into his room. It was right across the hallway from Mia's. Sam looked at me when he came in. His heart sped up and all he could think about was Mia.

"Is she okay? Is she okay?" he questions frantically.

"Yes."

*sighs* "You do not know how happy I am to hear those words!"

"I'm pretty sure I know!"

Mia was still in the hospital the next day! I was heart broken to have to come to school without her! The doctors haven't even diagnosed her yet! I'm so worried!

I saw Bobby's brat of a girlfriend in the halls. I quickly scribbled a note to her that said:

"Meet me in the ally by my house after school, OR ELSE!!!!!"

She read the note and gasped dramatically (probably for attention). I just glare at her the entire time.

After school, I threw my schoolwork in my locker, and ran to the bathroom. I took out my earrings, put my hair up, and got ready to fight.

My heart was pounding, my hands were shaking, but sure enough, I made my way to the ally.

The ally is dark. No one ever goes there. I look around, and all I see is a garbage can. I don't see Cecelia anywhere.

I wait for about an hour, then realize that she's not coming. My mom thinks that I'm at a friend's house, so she won't freak out if I don't come home right away. I finally just decide to go visit Mia again.

When I walk in, I find a surprise..........
