-JIMMY POV-
"Hey man," I approached Matt. "have you seen Imogen anywhere?" He shook his head in denial and I groaned in frustration. I haven't seen her all day, and now that I think about it, nobody has. We've been parked at a concert venue for nearly 4 hours now and not a damn soul has seen nor heard from her. I tried calling her multiple times yet she's nowhere to be found.
Plopping down onto my bunk, I let out a defeated groan as I slipped my shoes on. Since I can't find her, maybe if I get some Oreo's she'll smell them or something, her obsession with them is unhealthy. "I'm going to the store, I'll be right back." I told everyone as I walked passed the living area of the bus. Hopping down the steps one by one I started my journey up the street to the convenience store I had spotted on our way here, it was only a 2 minute walk from where we were. I went in, got a package of Oreos, some JD, and gummy bears, paid and left.
Upon my arrival back to the bus, I noticed something on top of the bus roof. And there, sitting in the shade, was the girl that had been missing all day. I went into the bus, straight to my bunk to hide my Jack so Johnny didn't steal it, that cheeky little bastard. I returned outside and climbed the tree next to the bus, and then sat down next to this beautiful girl. Her hair was shining in the sun, a soft breeze flipping up the ends of her long hair. The first thing I noticed though, was that she was in a trance-like state. I waved my hand in front of her face and got no reaction, I also tried snapping my fingers but that didn't do anything. I got my face really close to her ear and was about to scream when her face quickly turned towards mine. We had a stare down for about a minute, and then she spoke.
"Jimmy, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, you know you can ask me anything. And I mean anything, if you know what I mean." I winked She held a straight face and spoke again.
"Ok, well, do you know what it's like to watch the light leave a humans eyes?" her eyes clouded over and she didn't move.
"Um, no not really. That's kind of strange that you'd ask a question like that, honestly." I was a little too freaked out to ask her why she had such an inquiry, but I went for it anyway. "Why do you ask?"
Shaking her head, she directed her vision to the slowly swaying branches of the tree stationed behind my head. "It's not important anymore," she mumbled.
Even more confused than I was before, I tilted my head. "What do you mean anymore? Did you murder someone Imogen?" I teased with a smirk. But that smirk quickly faded once she stared into my eyes.
"Ho-why would you think that?" eyes brimming with tears, she shot up from her Indian style seated position and climbed down the tree as quickly as she could. The last thing I heard was the bus door slam and her yelling at everyone to fuck off.
I slowly made my way down the tree and back into the bus. The guys must have seen the confusion written all across my face as I took a seat next to Zacky who had an unreadable expression in his eyes, but on his face he held..... a scowl? Why the hell was he scowling.
"Alright, I'm lost. What the fuck just happened?" Brian asked, taking a sip from his beer.
"I.... I really don't know," I shrugged. "she asked me a weird question, I answered, she got mad and stormed off. I honestly have no idea what I possibly did wrong."
"What was the question?" Freya asked quickly.
"She asked me if I knew what it's like to watch the light leave a humans eyes..." I trailed off.
"God dammit," Freya shouted and ran to the back room. Now instead of just me being confused, we were all confused.
