"Thank you Shay and Ashley", Miss Faulkner said. "Have a good weekend everyone!"

They took their books and walked out from the classroom.

"That went better than expected", Ashley said.

Shay looked at her with a shy face,
"Lucas is over there, fast what do I do?"

Ashley smiled and said, "You need to be forward with who you love, just don't focus on all the things that could go wrong."

"ASH?!"

"Oh I'm sorry, everything will be just fine, just walk up to him and ask him if he got a date to prom."

Shay put her books in the locker and slowly walked towards him and Dan.

"Oh Lucas I think you got a fan!", Dan screamed.

"Shut up Dan", Lucas whispered.

"Hi Lucas I was wonder.."

"Hi Shay, um I was wondering if you want to go to prom with me.", Lucas blushed.

"Prom?", Shay looked shocked.

"Yes prom, p r o m, you know you go there with someone and I was wondering if you wanted to be my date?"

Shay smiled and said,
"YES, um.. I mean yes of course."

They hugged a bit cringy and Dan laughed.

"I'll just, I'll pick you up at 8", Lucas smiled.

"Yeah", Shay whispered to herself.

She walked back to Ashley and told her everything.

"OMG SHAY, that's great."

"Yeah I guess", she said, and tried to look happy.

Ashley saw that and asked what was wrong.

"Nothing I just, nothing."

Ashley locked her locker and hugged Shay. "You know I'm here for you Shannon, no need to hide stuff from each other."

"Who will you go to prom with?", Shay asked her with a disappointed tone.

"Um idk, the first one who's willing to be my date.", she said and laughed.
"Now, I really need to go, mom told me I was gonna help her with something. Bye my beauty!"

Shay laughed and said,
"Haha stop calling me that, it sounds like we're together."

"Whatever my beast, BYE!", Ashley walked out to the buss and Shay stood by the lockers for a while. Then her buss finally came.
