Chapter 10

"Ah, being at home is good but I missed you guys!", Amelia said as she hugged Tyler.

"We missed you too.", said Tyler.

"Yeah, Tyler definitely did.", said Ginny.

"Of course, he did. I mean, I read some letters.", Jack chuckled.

"The other side is hot as well.", Ginny smirked.

"No way!", Jack laughed.

"Yes way.", Ginny continued to smirk.

"What the hell are you guys talking about?", asked Tyler and rolled his eyes.

The foursome were sitting in a train compartment, they were going back to Hogwarts for their third year.

"You both should be more clear, you both fancy eachother and you both look cute.", said Ginny.

"W-what?", asked Amelia.

"W-what?", mocked Ginny who was dragged out of the compartment by Jack.

"What the hell?", asked Ginny.

"You cannot just go and tell others about their crushes.", said Jack.

"Boo boo, I already did.", she said and crossed her arms.

"Boo boo, I saw that.", he rolled his eyes.

"You know what? I fancy myself as quite a matchmaker.", said Ginny.

"I bet.", he said.

"By the end of this year, they will be snogging the living daylight out of each other.", said Ginny.

"Gross! We are 13!", said Jack.

"Its not like I am asking you to snog me or something.", Ginny rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, but apparently, they are 13 as well.", he said in a 'duh' tone.

"I just know this will happen.", said Ginny.

"And how?", asked Jack.

"I will make one of them date someone else and BAM.", she clapped her hands aloud. "They will be together."

"BAM", Jack clapped his hands. "It won't happen."

"It will.", said Ginny.

The next day in Hogwarts, Ginny woke up at 4:30AM and she was unable to go back to sleep, so she got dressed, grabbed a book and talked towards her the little shed like place in the forest where she met Sirius.

"Who is there?", Ginny called as she saw a shadow. "Padfoot?"

"Pad-what?", the boy came out of his place and his face was on full display.

"Malfoy?", she asked. "What are you doing here?"

"I can ask you the same question.", said Draco and smirked.

"I came here to study.", she said and sat down in front of Draco.

His eyes widen, "Get up and get out."

"Shut up and don't disturb.", she said and opened her potions book.

He raised his eyebrow but sat down in front of her and stared at her, "You are weird."

She looked up from her book and smirked, "Aww, is baby Malfoy getting distracted?"

His eyes widen in shock, of course, he had one encounter with her and he was sure she was fierce, "No way, filthy blood traitor."

"Oh, shut up, Malfoy. Blood doesn't matter, you need to some brains and guts.", she said. "Stop being a daddy's boy."

He turned red, "Filthy--"

"Shut up, ferret face.", said Ginny and first time in forever, Draco Malfoy didn't had some sarcastic comebacks.

"Whatever.", he said.

"Argh, I hate snape!", Ginny said after good five minutes.

Draco looked up at her, "Why?"

"Potions sucks.", she said.

"Let me help.", he said and sat closer to her.

"Wait? Did the Slytherin prince just offered me his help?", she said. Draco looked at her to say something but he saw that smirk on her face and a smile broke on his face.

"Shut it, Weasley, let me help you.", he said and grabbed her notes. "Shit. You suck in potions.", he turned the page. "This is wrong, Weaseltte.", he turned the page again. "You need some serious help.", he shut the book close. "I'll teach you potions."

She rolled her eyes and asked, "Why should I trust you?"

"Because I haven't done anything to you?", he proposed with a smirk.

"But you hate me.", she said. "And don't forget the fact that I am a filthy blood traitor."

"Weasley, don't give me reasons to not to help you.", he smirked. "I am helping you because you are a pureblood."

"I am not switching sides, if that's what you want.", she rolled her eyes.

"You roll your eyes a lot.", he said and she glared at him before dissolving into fits of laughter, soon Draco joined her as well.

They sat there and Draco corrected her notes and helped her learn the potion they were going to make today in potions.

"Never thought I would say this, but thank you, Draco.", she said.

"Since when did we got on first name basis?", he asked.

"Since we became friends.", she shrugged and walked away.

Draco stood there, he really wanted to befriend Harry, not because he was 'The Harry Potter' but because he saw a genuine kindness in Harry, the same he can see in Ginny. Of course, there was no romance in their friendship. Not that he wanted that.

On the other hand, Ginny was about to kick Draco's ass, but she saw pain in his eyes, his need for that place was much higher than her's, she saw real Draco Malfoy, not someone who would pick on first years or Harry, but someone who he really is. Ginny found out that Draco was a helping and caring person, and deep down, she wanted to help him and bring him to the right side. She felt it was her calling, and she was told to follow her instincts, esper instincts are stronger than normal instincts, thus, Malfoy became Draco for her.

In her head, she knew she will find Draco here tomorrow, same place, same time.
