"way to go mark," hyeri mumbled to herself, "making me confess over text and now i can't see him around."

as soon as she reached the school, she walked around to find mark. he would usually be at his locker area but hyeri couldn't find him there. she walked past his class, however, there was no sign of him.

she was frustrated. of all things, she hated confessing over text. it looked as if the person was a coward. hence, she was planning to talk to him in person about the matter.

-

"look who i finally found," hyeri stated as she walked over to the group of boys sitting down on one of the tables of the cafeteria.

"oh, hyeri," mark greeted, looking up when she stood in front of them. the other three boys looked at her as well, amused.

"and that's the only thing you're gonna say?" hyeri scoffed.

"what do you expect him to say?" donghyuck retorted.

jeno asked, "did something happen?"

silence followed. mark and hyeri stared at each other. jaemin broke the silence, "we'll let you two talk."

he pulled jeno and donghyuck with him, out of the cafeteria. donghyuck was against the idea, so he tried to let go from jaemin's grip on his arm.

when it was only the two of them, hyeri took a seat, which was previously occupied by jaemin, across the boy. "are you avoiding me?"

he laughed. "that's exactly what i asked yesterday."

"no, seriously man."

"alright, chillax. and i'm not." mark replied.

"i haven't seen you until now." she mumbled.

"miss me?" mark smirked.

she rolled her eyes. "whatever. so? i told you i liked you and you ignored me."

"sorry?" he smiled sheepishly. "i was too busy jumping around out of joy i guess."
