"DOROTA" "Yes Miss Eryn?" Dorta says rushing into the room, "Dorta, did you see the latest E-Blast?" Dorta looks uneasy but responds with, "The one about Hayley dressing like middle age soccer mom?" Eryn glares at Dorta, "Dorta this is not a time to be joking! While yes I did see that and she did look horrible, I'm talking about the blast about Bret last night." Dorta gives Eryn a sympathetic look, "Look like Mr. Bret not at baseball practice after all huh?" Eryn starts to get angrier the more she thinks about it, "No, no he wasn't. But don't worry, I have this handled thank you Dorta" Dorta confused, but happy to be left out of Eryn's newest scheme, leaves her bedroom just as Eryn is pulling out her phone.
"Ryan you check Gossip Girl more than anyone else in the whole Upper East Side" Alyssa says taking a seat next to her older brother, "No I don't Alyssa" he says defensively, she just rolls her eyes, "Maybe if you didn't take so long to get ready I wouldn't have so much time to kill in the mornings" Ryan answers back. The sad part was that Ryan knew she was right, he was checking Gossip Girl quite a lot lately, but how could he not? Knowing that Caroline was back, but chasing boys like Bret Archibald broke his lonely heart. "She could do better than him" Ryan says just above a whisper, "Yeah okay Ryan, he's BRET ARCHIBALD of the UPPER EAST SIDE and you're Ryan Humphrey, from Brooklyn."
Spotted: CB and B taking their daily walk to St. Judes through Central Park, what could the two boys be talking about? Perhaps B's love triangle? Hmmm
"Bret, we've been friends our whole life, just tell me the truth here." Cam says trying to pry the truth outta Bret, "Alright alright, right before Caroline left, at the Calvin wedding, something happened between me and Caroline-" Cam couldn't help but interrupt, "Something happened Bret?" He says with a cheeky smile, "Shut up Cam, but basically now Caroline is back and apparently Gossip Girl knows, so yesterday Caroline and I met up to talk about what to do," "and then the blast came?" Cam finishes for him, "yeah" Bret says with a defeated sigh, "So, more or less you're afraid that Eryn is going to find out and Gossip Girl is going to expose you and Caroline's dirty little secret?" "Basically, and I have no clue what do" Cam stops walking, "I think you need to figure out who you love Bret. Caroline or Eryn. You can't love them both"
Life in the spotlight and plastered over Gossip Girl isn't as appealing as it seems, Caroline Van Der Woodsen of all people knows that right about now. No one at Constance will talk to her, Eryn is successfully turning everyone against her, but what could she do? Eryn won't talk to her, and she can't even turn to one of her best friends, Bret anymore. Maybe there's someone who could help.
"Cam, look I know I left and now I'm back, and there is everything with Bret and Eryn and.." Cam smiles, he loves seeing people squirm and come crawling to him for help. "You want my help?" "Yes, I don't want to hurt anyone. I just want everything back to the way it was" Cam takes a sip of his whiskey, "Caroline it's out of anyone's control at this point" "Cam. You of all people know that's not true" Cam laughs at her, "If Gossip Girl wants to let out you and Archibald's little secret she will, it's more so when she does, not if" Caroline looks disgusted, "Thanks Cam, nice to see you haven't grown up at all in a year" He smirks and downs his whiskey while watching Caroline walk away he yells out "Caroline, go to the Kiss on the Lips party tonight, look for Bret"
Ah yes, everyone's favorite back to school party has arrived, the Kiss on the Lips party. E has been spotted in an eye catching pink mini dress, trying to make sure B is still all hers? But don't worry, CVDW is also in attendance wearing a dazzling red dress. B spotted going in solo, and would it be a party without CB in attendance? Of course not Upper East Siders, stay by your phones tonight I have a feeling it's going to be an eventful night.
