Micah dragged his lips over the base of her neck and up to her lips, she moaned as they shared an intimate kiss, almost as intimate as their previous act.

With her naked body pressed up against his, he caressed the side of her body lovingly, not wanting this passionate moment to end. Many people have not had the privilege of experiencing the difference between "sex" and making love, nor do they have someone to share both of these aspects of sex with. He was lucky enough to have a woman who could do both. This thought only made him kiss her more enthusiastically.

She broke the kiss, making him pout. She sighed against his neck, burying her face into his scent and grasping his strong shoulders. The room was filled with the scent of sweat and sex, with a hint of her signature vanilla and fresh forest air smell.

Micah smiled and leaned down, cupping her cheek, "I love the way you kiss me."

She tittered and her eyes fluttered open so gracefully, he would compare her eyelashes to a pair of butterfly wings, "What?"

Micah kissed her cheek gently, "So passionate, so intense. Like my love for you." He stroked her hair.

She smiled and delivered a dove-like kiss to his lips, it was slow and endless, awakening his urge to pleasure her, show her exactly how he felt.

"You make me feel so special, Micah. I don't deserve you, but I'm proud that you are mine." She ran her hand through his hair.

"Is that you trying to say those three little words?" He smirked.

She rolled her eyes and pulled him down on top of her, snuggling up to him and closing her eyes.

"I love you." She whispered.

Micah wrapped his arms around her and shut his eyelids, basking in her comforting embrace, in the warmth her body emitted. He lay his lips on her cheek and let them rest there for a few seconds, "I wish you could stay with me forever." He spoke in a hushed, longing tone.

She pressed her lips onto his earlobe, "I don't ever want to be without you."

Micah smiled, he only cared about being with her at that moment. He didn't think about the possibility that there would be complications, only thinking of the fact that she was his, and he was hers.

Beep-beep~Beep-beep~Beep-beep

Micah shot up from his bed with a gasp. His eyes adjusted to his surroundings, his vision was blurred, he rubbed his eyes and looked at his alarm clock groggily.

'5:00 am' He read.

Normally, he'd hit the snooze button and try get that extra 5 minutes of heavenly sleep everyone treasured, but his head was flooding with thoughts of his dream. No, not a dream, a memory.

Memories of her, memories of their time together. He buried his face in his hands as the emotions that came along with it enveloped him. A familiar feeling of numbness rose in his chest, the heartbreak he felt all those years ago was not quite as fresh, but it still never diminished in time as much as he'd have liked. He had never felt as hurt as he had the moment she walked away, the moment he realised it was over. After a while, the hurt was so unbearable, it transformed into just plain numbness. Nowadays, that's how he felt, numb and unfeeling, towards woman anyway.

All except one that is. He hit the top of his alarm clock, the room went silent.

"Dad?" An unsure voice was heard from the door of his bedroom.

Cassandra Pov

I peeped my head into my father's bedroom. The alarm had been going on for ages now, this was odd. Usually he'd turn it off immediately. I knew my father had his own reasons for all his actions, normally I'd leave him to do his thing, but my curiosity got the best of me.
