Avoiding looking at Arnav, Khushi excused herself and started to leave when Naniji told Khushi that one of the drivers can take her home. "I'm f...fine Naniji I'll take an auto home, shukriya" she said nervously. Anjali then suggested that Arnav take Khushi home but she quickly declined. Even Naniji agreed that Arnav should take Khushi home. Khushi starts feeling her resolve slipping, she then thanks everyone and says goodbye. She flees from there, Arnav who was watching her the whole time tries to stop her but isn't fast enough.

Looking out to where she just left Arnav is approached but none other then his jeejaji (Brothers in-law) ,Shyam Manohar Jha who with a smug smile congratulates the newly engaged couple and just like that he starts to come apart from the seams.
The family excitingly starts talking about having the Roka ceremony tomorrow, Arnav visibly panics his decision to do THIS starts to loose its purpose the control he thought he gained is fading away...
" Enough of this nonsense, everyone. " he snaps then looks at everyones facial expressions he backtracks ordering everyone to stop picking dates for the wedding and booking tickets for the honeymoon, before storming off.
