You promised me

Chapter one

I hear her, screaming for me. The five letters that make up my name come from her mouth in a panic tone. I try to place where the voice was coming from.

"Katniss!"

"Peeta!"

I whip past the trees, vines and tree branches find my face, but I keep going. I must find her.

What is Johanna doing to her?

Is the alliance already broken?

Was that Beetee's plan all along?

Get us separated then kill us off?

"Katniss!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

"Peeta help!"

I run as fast as I can until I hit the beach, a warm wind blows my blonde hair into chaos. I brush the hair out of my face and sigh.

I went the wrong way.

Peeta you're so dumb!

I see the sky turning gray, as the lighting forms in the sky.

I panic and sprint back into the jungle.

"Katniss where are you!?"

I am running and someone knocks me over the head.

I weakly look up and see a girl holding me to the ground.

Johanna.

"Let me go!" I scream.

"SHHH!" She tells me and grabs my arm.

"Katniss!" I scream.

"Peeta!"

"Katniss!"

"SHHH!" Johanna yells at me. "You wanna get us caught?"

Caught? What the heck does she mean? She is killing me!

"Katniss help!"

She grabs her knife and cuts open my arm. I let out a scream as the blood pours from my arm.

She puts her hand in my arm and pulls something from it.

I look at it as my version goes blurry. It's something metal. My tracker.

"What.. what.." I try to say. She looks at me. Her face look distorted.

"What.. why.."

"Shh Peeta, it will all make sense soon."

Make sense soon?

She goes back into my arm and comes out of it, her hand covered in my blood. She covers my neck full of blood.

"Why.. kill.. me?" I ask weakly from the loss blood, forgetting we are in the Hunger Games.

"I'm not killing you. Stay down." And with that she leaves.

I try to yell for Katniss but I can't get my lips to form her name.

I am going to die. I try to stand up but my arm objects.

The sky has darkened, the lighting strikes and arrow going up as it comes down.

What happens next is bizzare, the arrow explodes the dome, it starts to fall apart, falling to the ground, letting real light in.

Sunlight.

Why would Katniss do this?

Is she alright?
