chapter 6 | you can come out

tessa's pov

i have locked myself up in my room for about two days now. not wanting to go out and face jakes stupid vlog camera. my phone has been blowing up with texts, dms, snapchats, tweets, tagged photos, you name it, it was there. every single tagged photo was a chessa picture. i've been staying off my phone for that reason. nick and erika have brought me up food every once in a while and so has chad when he is here, he doesn't live here but he makes an effort.

i have had a lot of time to think. in that time i have realized that i really like chance. like a lot. it's just something about him that i can't describe.

i've now been in my room for 38 hours, almost 2 days. haven't gone out once. i have everything i need in here, a bathroom, clothes, food, a tv. i'm good.

1 1/2 hours later...

i hear a knock on my door. "who is it?" i groan.

"it's chance." the voice says. "why don't you come out of there?"

"i don't want to be bombed with jakes questions and vlog camera." i say back.

"they're all at dinner, it's ok you can come out." he says.

i get up and approach the door, i slowly unlock it and open it. chance is standing there, he has bags under his eyes. "have you gotten any sleep??"

"not really. jake just hasn't left me alone, he keeps asking me about us.. the fans are going crazy."

"ya i know."

"i'm really sorry." chance says.

"there's nothing to be sorry about." i say back. he approaches me and gives me a hug. i hug him back and it feels like time has just stopped and i never want him to let go of me.

time skip

everyone just got back home and me and chance are sitting in the kitchen eating dinner. "look guys it's tessa!" jake says pointing his vlog camera at me, i block my face so the camera can't see my face.

"yo man leave her alone." chance says taking another bite of his dinner.

thank you i mouth out to him and he nods.

"alright alright i will stop." he put the camera down. "guys let's go outside!"

everyone follows jake outside and we all sit down in chairs or on the couch. the couch can only fit 2-3 people so me anthony and tessa sit on it. i sit in the middle of the two and have my arm draped around tessa. i look up at the stars and so does tessa, i look over at her and see her eyes twinkle in the night sky. she's so beautiful.
