"Anything you'd like to tell me, Stanford?", Stanley asked while cleaning a wound on the woman's shoulder.
Stanford stopped checking Morty's heartbeats only for a moment to look at his brother. He wasn't mad, but Ford could tell he felt betrayed. The two brothers had been together for almost a year now and they made a strong bond. Stanley was completely honest with his brother and Ford knew he thought that the feeling was mutual.
"I've been gone for a long time, Stanley, you wouldn't understand", Ford said.
"I don't understand half of the stuff we've been though since we left this town and still I've been on your side", Stanley said "Come on, I'm not mad. I'm just curious. What's the deal with that skinny nerd?".
They both looked at Rick's motionless body lying on the armchair. The pale man had been out for over twenty minutes now and he didn't seem to be anywhere near to wake up.
"He... Helped me out to make a weapon to kill Bill Cypher", Stanford confessed "I've joined him in a few of his adventures".
Stan seemed content with that response and relaxed a little bit.
"Any idea of what he's doing here?", he asked.
"Assuming he hasn't changed in the last twenty-five years, I assume he got drunk and accidentally pressed the 'time travel' button", Ford joked.
"Where did you meet that guy anyway?", Stan enquired.
The other man looked at his brother and opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out.
"Mr. Pines, Mr. Pines!", Soos said, running downstairs and standing in the entrance of the living room, panting "Uh, I don't mean to interrupt anything, but the girl is kinda freaking out with this whole spaceship crashing thing and Wendy and I are not sure of what to do next".
The three men stood in an awkward silence for a few seconds.
"So... I hope you guys can give us a little help up there?", Mr. Mystery continued "Uh, like right now? I don't mean to hurry you guys, but she's getting pretty mad".
Stanford put down the stethoscope he was using to check Morty's heartbeats and got up, putting his glasses back on – it was hard to keep both the glasses and the stethoscope in his head at the same time –.
"I'll try to calm her down, then".

"Stay back!", Summer said, pointing the gun at Dipper "Stay the hell back".
"Whoa. Sister, calm down" Wendy said, getting in the way "We're not going to hurt you".
"Where am I? Which dimension is this? Are you a version of me? Is he a version of Morty?", the girl said, paranoid.
"Uh... You're in Gravity Falls, Oregon. My name is Wendy and he's Dipper", the lumberjack said, giving a step forward "Look, I don't know what the hell happened in there, but we can help you with..."
"Don't you dare get any closer!", Summer said, still pointing the gun at Wendy.
"Whoa, okay. Calm down!", said Wendy "Don't do anything stupid".
"Where am I and why did my grandfather brought us to this place?!", the other teenager interrupted.
"I believe I know the answer", Stanford said, getting in the attic, where the girl was hiding behind a bed barricade.
