Bad Blood

Banner steps inside and closes the door. Tony grins, "Not very macho to hide behind a girl."

Loki smirks, "You clearly have no idea what she is capable of. Though she may appear small, she is fierce."

Tony looks from Loki to Saga. "I'll take your word for it."

"I hide behind no one."

Tony raises an eyebrow. "You keep telling yourself that."

Steve frowns and looks at Saga. "Why are you protecting him?"

"We will tell you everything once..." She stops mid sentence and glances at Loki. "Did you feel that?"

He nods, "I only hope he's in a good mood."

Tony and Steve exchange confused looks. A few moments later the door flies open and Thor walks in.

"Oh good, they found Point Break."

Thor strides past them and grasps Loki by the shoulders. "I am glad you have come. We have much to discuss."

"I'm sorry....what?"

Thor turns to his friends, "My brother has reformed himself and is here to assist us."

Tony raises an eyebrow. "We need help? With what?"

Saga smiles and steps over to him, "All in good time Anthony. Why don't we go out to the lounge where it's less crowded?"

Steve grins; Tony glares at him and opens the door. "This had better be good."

Saga reaches behind her, Loki steps forward and takes her hand. She leads him out of the interrogation room and into the open lounge. Thor follows after them leaving Tony, Steve, and Bruce to pick their jaws up off the floor.

Saga takes a seat in a chair; Loki sits on the arm of the chair while the others file in. Once Steve, Bruce, and Thor had seated themselves and Tony found a comfortable place to lean, Saga turns to Thor. "Tell me of your dream."

"I'm sorry, his what?"

"Shut up Stark."

Saga smiles at Steve and looks back at Thor. He leans forward and rests his forearms on his knees. "I am fighting a losing battle alongside these my friends. The city crumbles around us and one by one I watch them fall. I am knocked to the ground and unable to move. The last thing I see is Loki running toward me being watched by her."

Saga gives him a reassuring smile. "Oh, brother mine you needn't worry so. All will be well." She looks around at the other Avengers; Tony does his best to avoid eye contact but fails spectacularly. "And what of your dream Tony?"

Bruce and Steve turn to looks at him, he shakes his head. "I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know what she's talking about."

Loki smirks, "Now who's hiding?"

Tony sighs, "Fine. I'm flying through the streets above everyone else and my thrusters fail. I fall to the ground at the base of Avenger Tower, some guy walks up and smashes my armour and takes my ARC reactor." He shudders and closes his eyes. "I lived long enough to see the same guy kill Pepper." He opens his eyes and clears his throat. "That what you wanted to hear?"

Loki looks up at Tony. "I am sorry." He says remorsefully.

Tony nods, "Yeah." He clears his throat again and looks over at Steve. "Your turn Cap."

Steve squares his shoulders, "I was being chased by this guy and no matter what I threw at him he wouldn't go down. I turned down this alley and I thought I'd lost him but there he was at the other end. I turned and found a woman standing behind me. The next thing I know I'm on the ground and everything is going dark."
