Reunions

Their feet hit solid ground and the swirling light vanishes. Saga drops her arms and turns around to face the three black vehicles that were driving up to them. The doors fly open and several people step out with their weapons drawn. Saga smiles. "Hello Ward, how's the team?"

Ward stares at her for a moment before he recognizes her. "Saga? What are you doing here? Who's he?" he asks lowering his gun.

"Yes, we're here to help, he's a friend."

Fitz pokes his head out of the nearest car, "No he's not! That's Loki! He's the one that killed Coulson!"

Ward raises his gun and points it directly at Loki. "Saga step away."

"No Ward." She stands in front of Loki, reaching back and grabbing hold of his hand. "We need to talk to Fury, It's very important."

~*~A couple of hours later~*~

Loki steps out of the SUV, under the watchful eye of Agent Ward, he turns and helps Saga step down. He takes her by the arm as they are escorted to the plane. Coulson and Skye watch from the top of the stairs. Saga's foot catches on the ramp and she stumbles, Loki catches her and sweeps her up into his arms. "She needs rest. Is there somewhere she can lie down?"

Ward exchanges a look with May and both look up at Coulson. He turns and disappears down the hall, Skye frowns and walks over to the stairs. "Yeah. Bring her up."

Loki nods and carefully maneuvers up the spiral stair to the door Skye holds open. Skye leads him down the hallway to the interrogation room. Loki lays Saga down on the bed and seats himself on the edge of the bed at her feet. "Thank you." he says looking up at Skye with a smile.

Skye smiles, "No problem. Does she need anything? Do you..."

Loki shakes his head, "We're fine."

Skye turns and walks out closing the door behind her. It shuts with a loud click. She joins the others in the command center.

"Didn't Thor say he was dead?"

"Is she still unwell? I thought the Asgardian's were more advanced."

"What are "they" here to help with?"

Skye leans on the doorframe, "He's better looking than I thought he'd be." She mumbles to herself as she watches him on the security feed. The room goes suddenly quiet, Skye looks up and realizes all eyes are on her. "What? He is!"

Ward shakes his head, "He tried to take over the world. He brought an army of aliens that nearly destroyed Manhattan, and you think he's cute."

"I think he's changed."

"What makes you say that?"

Skye pulls the security feed up on the monitor behind him. "This."

Loki sits on the floor beside the bed, his back against the wall, his left arm resting on the bed, he interlaces his fingers with hers. He lays his head back and closes his eyes.

Skye turns to face the team. "I know what he's done and I'm not trying to defend his actions from before but he cares about her. Maybe he's changed, shouldn't we give him a chance to explain why he's here? We know Saga, we know she can be trusted. If she trusts him then why shouldn't we?"

Coulson stares at the screen and nods. "I've already made the call."

"Oh look, he's asleep. You wake him up."

"Maybe we should let him sleep."

"You volunteering to carry him out of here?"

"Well no...I'm just saying he may not take to kindly to being woken up."

"What about the girl?"

"They said she would cooperate."

"I'll get the girl, you get Rock of Ages there."

Loki opens his eyes and looks up at the two men standing over him. "Or I can walk out on my own."

Both men take a step back, weapons drawn. "Don't move."

"At least let me wake her."

"I said don't move."

Loki puts both of his hands up in surrender. No sooner has he released Saga's hand than she opens her eyes and sits up. "Hello boys. Come to take us to Fury?"

"Sara?"

"Kindra?"

Tony frowns and stares at Steve. "Her name is Kindra."

"I know how good you are with names. This is Sara."

Loki slowly stands to his feet, he puts a hand on her shoulder. She smiles and puts her hand on his. "Actually my name is Saga."

Tony and Steve turn to her, both men clearly confused.

"Yes, I am both Kindra and Sara, I'll explain once you two deliver us to Fury."

"You mean three."

Saga frowns, "Three?"

"Yeah. See we learned something last time. There was only one of us that seemed to have much of an effect on your boy here." He reaches behind him and opens the door.

Saga jumps to her feet and stands in front of Loki. "Hello Dr. Banner."
