Axel's POV

I giggled when James started to tickle my sides "Stop James you're going to make me pee" I laughed. He stopped and sat back on his bed "What did you want to speak to me about that you had to wake me up early on Sunday morning" I asked while trying to regain my breath.

"I'm sorry about ignoring you yesterday" he blurted. He looked nervous like he was keeping something but it's probably just the guilt from ignoring and snapping at me.

I smiled "It's okay I forgive you. You were probably stressed and running late and I kept pestering you" I said.

He breathed out a sigh of relief and stood up "Good I thought you were pissed" he said while walking up to his drawer.

"Do I look pissed to you" I asked he glanced at me and smiled.

"No you don't, love" he said before taking off his shirt and digging around for another one.

I examined his body I was about to look away when something caught my eye are those bruises...no those are hickies. My heart clenched painfully I didn't put those there tears started to well in my eyes but I blinked them away. Maybe I did leave them there and I just don't remember.

<Don't be stupid, Axel> Keiran growled weakly. I can tell Keiran is hurt he loved James a lot and I was starting to get worried about meeting my mate since my birthday is in 2 weeks.

But suddenly I'm not so sure about my feeling towards James "Was I not enough for you" I suddenly mumbled without thinking.

"What was that babe" James asked while sitting on the bed and wrapping his arms around my waist.

I pushed his arms off of me "Don't call me that" I snapped "Why did you do it was I not enough for you" I cried.

"Baby please, I don't know what you're talking about" he pleaded.

I scoffed "Well let me refresh your memory. Next time you cheat make sure to cover up your hickies so you won't get caught" A sob left my lips and realization fell upon James.

"Axel it wasn't like that" James said while reaching out for me but I stood up.

"What was it like them, hmm. You thought that you could cheat and get away with it and everything will be okay" I snapped. I felt sick all of a sudden "I have to go" I said while walking to the door.

I was about to walk out when James spoke up "A-Axel please" his voice cracked and I can tell he was crying.

"No James. I can't be around you right now because I might end up forgiving you" I said before running out of his room and down the stairs.

I crashed into Mrs. Marshall on the way out but I couldn't make myself look at her "Axel are you okay honey" she asked sweetly though her voice was laced with worry.

"Ask your son if I'm 'okay'" I said numbly before running out of the house. James was my ride home but I really need a walk.

I was walking in the woods when I heard a male voice "Her scent ends here but where is she. Her blood is on that rock. Why? Where is she? Where's my beloved?" the voice sounded a bit dazed and broken.
