Chapter 9

Michelle POV

Tears were streaming on my face. I couldn't think straight after what happened. My mascara was running and I looked terrible.

I came back to the hallway with Riker chasing me on my heels.

"Thank you for the lunch. I'll pay." And I handed them a $50 bill.

"You didn't have to do that but thank you Michelle." Mark said.

"It's ok it's my contribution to the way you guys took care of me." I said tears still coming out.

"I'll... Go." I walked out of the diner seeing Lucy with a evil grin on her stupid little face.

Ross POV

I just saw Michelle with her teary face paying for lunch and storming out. I wonder what happened.

Then Riker came rushing out of nowhere.

"Uhm... Where's Michelle I made a huge mistake!!" Riker looked alarmed.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!???!!" Rydel glared at him.

"She got out of the diner, and then she was crying." I raised an eyebrow.

"I... Didn't believe her. Well I gotta go make my mistake up. Bye." Riker said.

He stormed out.

"Well then. I'm gonna go now because Riker isn't here and I'm bored. Later losers." Lucy rolled her eyes, got up and left.

Riker POV

I went searching for Chelle. I finally spotted her in the skating park. She looked beautiful in the sunlight, but sad. I blamed myself for her grief.

"Chelle! I'm so sorry. I love you and always will. I have no idea what happened to me earlier. I'm so so sorry. You're the best thing that happened to me! I just... Don't want to lose you. I'm so sorry. Will you forgive me?" I felt sad.

"It's just that, if you can't trust me... This can't work." She stared at the floor.

I felt like punching myself. I feel so terrible.

"I know. I trust you. And I was stupid back there. I'm so sorry. I love you." I was close to the verge of tears.

"Hmm... Just.. Give me some time. Just know that I will love you forever no matter what but I'm still mad." I whispered.

"Okay... I'm sorry." I looked into her eyes.

Then shockingly, she crashed her lips on mine, pulled back, and left me.
